The employees were friendly and helpful, and there was a great selection of games, consoles, gaming accessories, anime/comics, and toys and figures. There were games for NES, Atari systems, various versions of Gameboys, PS1, PS2, GameCube, modern consoles, DS, and more. I was looking for games for my Commodore VIC-20 and didn't see any, but it's a pretty obscure system so it's a big ask. The prices were sometimes expensive but not nearly as much as eBay, and they had a selection unlike any game store I've been to. I feel like the items sold were worth the price. While I didn't end up buying anything, I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Our first couple tries, they were closed because of winter break according to a written sign on the door, and a second time I think they just closed early that day. (this was maybe 2019 or 2020). Anyways, I eventually made it back out that way (it's about an hour drive for me) with a buddy, and it was worth the trip. The guy working the desk was helpful and friendly. They had a great selection of throwbacks. I recommend shopping here especially if you live out that way near the kennesaw area. Businesses like this are rare, and we are lucky to have it. Good deals too on their pricing.

RetroSound Records is, hands down, one of the best record stores in Atlanta. Not because it's the biggest, but because of the staff and because I ALWAYS find something I love here. The owner Ken and his associate Josh are some of the best in the biz. Ken has turned me on to some fantastic records I may have never thought of and he reaches out when something comes in that he knows I'd like. We have similar taste in music (so...excellent taste in music) If he suggests it, I usually buy it. Josh is incredibly knowledgeable and gives the level of service that keeps me coming back. RetroSound Records has a great selection. Pro tip: Always start out with what's on the front counter. Never fails. Then hit the bins on the end of the front counter. Those sections never fail me. They have an EXCELLENT jazz section and right in the middle of the shop are many great records that are half price. THAT section never fails me either. It's my favorite. Ken has a great selection in general and he will spin anything you ask him to (unsealed of course). If you are into vinyl, always buy local! We need to keep shops like this open. Keep an eye out for their Mid Night Madness Events. You won't find Record Store Day here, and that's ok with me!! Mid Night Madness is much more fun!! Get to this shop, and ask for Ken and Josh. They are some of my favorite people in this business and you will be incredibly happy with what you find here.

We were there one day to buy some stuff and the lady said we should spend our points to renew it because we had tons of points (as we like to save them up and spend them in large amounts). She then told us that we should be careful because all it takes for someone to steal the points is getting our phone number. We said we knew and still declined. Of course we verbally gave her our number to get the points for this transaction. A day or two passes and we get an email thanking us for spending our points online. Someone used our account to buy gift cards and spent them on another account. We have been members forever and saving points like this for a long time, this never has happened before. This was no coincidence. We have avoided this store when this lady, who I believe is a manager, is working there. Unfortunately we had a preorder to pick up and went into the store today thinking she wasn't there to pick up this pre-order. Surprise, they told is they had no record of the pre-order that WE PAID FOR IN FULL ALREADY... Last time we were in the store the girl (the one that stole our points and now pre-order) told us the item just hadn't come in yet. The person working today was told about their fellow employees actions and he said that they "are a team and no one on the team would do that." Well be assured this isn't over. We've contacted corporate already once and luckily they gave us the points you stole from us back. We'll be calling corporate back today and informing them of our stolen pre-order as well. Luckily there are other Gamestops close by who know that this Gamestop as a bad reputation and we much prefer to spend our money there. It's sad that you sat there and had a good conversation with us about our family and games and our daughter and then stole from us in the same day. I'm sure you used a throwaway account to use the gift cards so you didn't get caught by corporate, but today it just proved to us that it was you when we were told our pre-order wasn't there and the kid acted like we never even pre-ordered it. I guess the girl we talked to that day lied to us then. Either shes a liar or thief. I will gladly give the name of the employee and description (in case the receipt had the incorrect name on it) if a District Manager or someone from corporate would like to contact me.

Oh my soul, where should I begin?! From the moment I walked through the doors on a cold, rainy Sunday in Georgia, I felt a sense of peace, warmth and welcome. My brother treated me to join him in a 45-minute session in the salt room, which is just what I needed to relieve some stress and sinus pressure. We were greeted with a smile and kindness by the owner, Sherry, and also received excellent customer service provided by Tonya while we were there. Sherry even let us get all settled and comfy in the salt room while we waited for other customers to arrive. You can tell from the moment she looks at and speaks to you what a sweet soul she has. What a beautiful shop with an amazing variety of books, oils, crystals and so many other precious gifts. The shop smells wonderful and is extremely clean, even the ladies' room really impressed me. I recently had a session at the Salt Room . What can I say? The peace and serenity I felt in this room was powerful. I experienced such serenity and a few aha moments. A sales associate immediately asked what I was looking for and amazingly, I was for once not browsing and looking for something specific. I needed a new bag for work that could carry my laptop. She showed me their options, of which there were really only two. The second option was something I would have never considered if it hadn't been for the sales associate. The bag looked too flashy and there was no way it would carry everything I needed, but she promptly busted out laptop cases, iPad cases, and stuffing and shoved it all into the bag to demonstrate that actually, yes, it WOULD work. I'm not easily swayed, but she totally sold me on the second bag- that's what being a sales rep is all about in the end, right? I'm not sure if she works on commission, but she definitely had my sale. Unfortunately neither of the two options really met all my needs so I had to pass, but that second bag is absolutely on my Christmas list. Great job MK for hiring great people!

Location is a little hard to find as the strip mall in which they are located is kind of down in a hole...right on Roswell Road next to Harry's Farmers Market. Prices were the most reasonable of any of the three AND they have taken over the space next door and that's where they have all their close-out beads for $3 a strand (not per bead, but per strand). I was expecting a lot of cheap, crappy beads for $3, but there were blown glass beads, natural stone beads (usually the most expensive) including agate and quartz, every shape and size of bead...absolutely beautiful. They are in the process of taking over a third storefront and having a workshop where they will offer multiple classes. Can't wait!
