I've used other services and gotten the ashes back in a cheap tin so I was pleasantly surprised to see the ashes in a wooden box. For anyone reading reviews because you have to make a decision about your pet, I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you have a good experience with this company as you navigate one of the hardest parts of animal care.

It's an amorphous blob with a void in the middle. Her paw print is fine and the box is adequate, if a little cheap looking. But maybe they could try redoing a nose print until it comes out looking like a nose instead of a blob. Because with something like this, you don't get a redo. ETA: they used paint instead of ink to do the prints. That's why the nose print is crap. Don't advertise ink prints if you're gonna use paint, which doesn't work.

Knowing that her time was probably drawing near, I did some research on providers of cremation services in my area. I decided I would contact Pets at Peace when the time came. I am so grateful that I did. When we took Molly in, we were warmly greeted by McKenzie and led to a private room where we were able to spend as much time alone with Molly as we wanted to say our goodbyes. We all wrote her messages of love and gratitude, which accompanied her through the process. We had already decided on a private cremation. McKenzie gently guided us through the arrangements. Four days later, we received a call from Rachel that everything for our sweet Molly was complete and ready to be picked up. When we went in later that day, we were greeted by Rachel. She had everything ready for us - Molly's beautifully engraved cedar urn, the mold of her paw, paw prints, and some of her fur (which was a touching and beautiful surprise). I was so, so grateful (and impressed) by the service and compassion we received from Pets at Peace, that I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of compassionate and dignified after life care for a deceased family pet. McKenzie and Rachel both recognized that these little souls are more than just our pets ... they are beloved members of our family, and Pets at Peace took great measure to treat us and our sweet baby girl with respect and help us through our grief. They could see that he was in distress and so were we. They immediately came and got him from our car and made him more comfortable. I found a dog on the side of the road and rescued him to foster him. I went in to get him checked out so that I could know about any health problems before he was adopted to his forever home, and to get him some immunizations just in case he was behind. During this appt they signed me up for a Paw Plan, stating that would be the cheapest option and not mentioning that it would be several hundred dollars when I canceled the plan at his adoption. So here we are, I have spoken to their billing department (Quentin who was rude and aggressive from the beginning) and their manager (Brittney who spoke to me with a complete lack of empathy and told me it wasn't her job to explain to me why we couldn't come to a compromise over +-$100), neither of whom has been able to explain to me why I should be paying hundreds of dollars for an adopted dog to get two immunizations when I could have gone any number of other places for immunizations that would have costed me less than the Paw Plan payments. They were rude and completely uninterested in a compromised cost, and they have absolutely lost my business forever. Don't expect for any longevity of a perfect client who has paid tens of thousands of dollars over the years, to get you any special consideration. Just a small amount of compromise would have left me feeling better about the interaction and about Holladay Vet in general. I would STRONGLY suggest that Holladay Vet invest in some customer service with their billing. The vet techs and people working at the desk clearly have some; it would be a good idea to clean up the back half so that people like myself don't feel so betrayed and taken advantage of. I would suggest going to ANY other vet clinic in town.
