We were not very happy with our experience. Signed a contract in April; roofing materials came on a truck in October; the roof was finally finished (after a bad start) in December. This spring, the section of lawn on which all the metal was parked is dead. We'll need to re-seed a large patch. The first crew that arrived didn't speak any English, and we did not speak their language, so it was impossible to talk with them--about gutters, a small curved roof, and other stuff. I wondered about paying such a large fee for "professionals" and then being sent a crew that appeared no more professional than other roofing folks. I just didn't feel confident that anything we were told would really be the truth. We should have been much more careful before signing that contract! The finished roof looks good. We have some issues about the way rain pours off a section, but we could have addressed that at the time the job was done if we'd had the right kind of care....partly our fault. I've since been advised that it would have been safer to remove our old roof before covering with metal (weight issues), but they told us it was unnecessary. Also, the gauge metal they use is (I'm told) a bit too thin. Not barn roof thin, but not the standard. I'd shop around more, if there were a next time. read more

My roof was installed in 2018 and started to leak just after the warranty expiry. I called to see if they could repair the leak and they said they did not feel like making the drive to fix it. Go with a contractor that will perform good work and stand by it. Definitely not this company. read more

Contractor recommended them, then they took 6 months to do the work (tarp on the roof). When finally finished, 3 leaks in 3 places on 3 different days, plus water on drip edge rolls over and down the eaves. After rude treatment, they reviewed and agreed to issues in May, but didn't start remediation until November. it's February now, and the roof still is not finished, and has been open all winter. One old guy comes up for a day or two every couple of weeks. They reused the same materials. Last week, they vacated their office in Hooksett, and Verizon says the main phone is "unavailable ". One of two main contacts is working for someone else and won't talk to me, and the other isn't answering his phone, with voicemail full. This nightmarish experience cost twice what I had paid to a local contractor 4 years earlier (had to redo because a 100' tree sliced a trench through our roof). DO NOT USE THEM! read more

Poor service after the job is paid for. Ice damage due to improper installation. Made several calls, each time being told we'll look into replacement piece and call you back. Never received one call back. Finally said they had the piece for $50 and I would have to get it. Asked Jacqui if the end was hemmed and she said "Yes". Well of course, it wasn't hemmed and after driving an hour there (2 hours RT) and wasting my time I told Jacqui I was not happy with their business due to the runaround I had received literally over three weeks. She stated she didn't remember asking me if it was hemmed and I told her it was because she didn't listen. She apologized and said she would have the piece hemmed and deliver it Monday herself. I went home and took a close up picture of the hem to make sure they got it right. Then I get her email... Perhaps ironic that's the only pic I didn't get until today, however I was supposed to "know" that was hemmed??? After your visit here this morning, speaking to me the way you did, saying that " I don't listen", speaking about it all with my CEO, I will not deliver that piece to you, if you still want it, its comes as is for $50 you pick up. You clearly have no idea the number of calls that come through my office on a daily basis and I can possibly remember every word of every conversation!! I had a small metal roof and a rubber roof done from them about 6 years ago. It was one error after another. Wrong time of the year, wrong adhesive, panels measured wrong, wrong underlayment, no common sense whatsoever. The job had to be done twice and even then gutters and electrical were not taken into consideration properly. They had to use my carts to pick up debris and they did so in an area where it could not be picked up so it was transferred to an accessible area, even then it had to be broken into two bundles. I had to be on the phone constantly requesting corrections. The supervisor said that this was his best team for my situation. If that was so, watch out. If I did not pickup one the problems as it was being done there would have electrical as well as foundation problems. HIREING THIS COMPANY IS A MISTAKE !!!! read more

He talks the talk but does not walk the walk and the people who own the company now are no better. They even have the same people working there just a new CEO who must of took lessons from Patrick. We had a new metal roof put on 5 years ago and it has done nothing but leak all around the chimney since 6 months after they put it on. We never had one leak there until after they installed the metal roof. The days they were there installing there were metal shards everywhere, screws left all over the place along with sticky black stuff. I asked them to please be as careful as possible due to my dog that goes outside, but no she ended up cutting her pad open and it bled really bad. They asked to even borrow a broom from me and I said fine but please leave it on the porch when you are done. The final day I was coming home to pay Patrick the final payment of 2800.00 and he couldn't even bother to show up to go over stuff I had to pay his workers. So I made them sign the only piece of paper I had and I was promised my warranty that day. So immediately my husband sent him an email to only get a response from his foreman saying he was out of town but as soon as he was back we would get it. NOPE never received and never heard from him again in person only by email when we reported the leak and the fact that I found my broom broken on the other side of the house! This is how he conducted business..he sent a guy out to fix the leak with chalk that never held it continued to leak ruined the ceiling in my office and leaked out into my hallway. Then he just stopped answering our calls and emails all together. Then years later he sells the company name and business off to another person who isn't any better. I get told no worries you are under warranty we will fix it. NOPE again, I get "oh our attorney say we aren't responsible under our ownership to fix your roof" then I get, we talked to Patrick and he only gave you a one year warranty. All a bunch of b.s. one is sneaker than the other. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY IF YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR YOU! Take your money and go elsewhere. They make up false comments on sights with people saying how good they are and don't post the bad ones...if you don't believe me come look at my house! At first I loved my new roof which was installed in 2017, and we had no issues... until 2020. We've called 4 times now for leaks, they eventually return calls and sometimes they are quite rude. We've had to take several days off now for appointments (which they can cancel last minute). When they come out to fix flashing issues there is no conversation. They just leave, without explanation. I've sent an email to one of the owners who promised he would always be there for us, nope.. no response. I'm being generous with the 1 star as the roof looks good. Apparently the installers we had rushed through the install and didn't flash it properly and dealing with these folks after the fact is a nightmare. Check out the BBB ratings. Salesman came out Steel Roofing was way to expense so he sold us on shingles. Layed out the process in writing, entire roof was to be protected with ice and shield and guarantee for 5 years for not leaking. We were assured a supervisor would be on site for the job. (no ice and shield, a fight to guaranteed, no supervisor during the job) The scheduled day a team of non English speaking men showed up with no shingles. Asked me where the shingles were when they arrived. What a joke ! Year one no leaks but issues on the back of the house that still today have not been resolved. This year front side of the house started leaking, after countless phone calls Foreman Mike came up to inspect and agreed there were problems with how the job was done. After more back and forth phone calls with owner Lisa, Mike shows up with a crew of non English men again with 5 bundles of shingles. what a joke!!!! After speaking with Foreman Mike from FMR he agreed that the roof wasn't done right but it wasn't his call. After long conversations with owner Lisa the front of the roof was finally done as it was supposed to be done according to the contract. Now the back of the house is still pending needed work, and the front of the house street side has two colors of shingles. The day they finished their Forman promised to be in touch to repair the back of the house after he spoke with the owner Lisa, that was June, now it's October and no one ever came back or called. Not Surprised. They are terrible, worse company ever, do not trust them you will be screwed over like we were. Gave them $16,000.00 paid in full and got screwed. Only thing left to do now is have a lawyer contact them which means spend more money. Again DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!! Chris came out to work directly with us. We weren't sure if we wanted metal or shingles. He showed us the samples and answered all questions He took a lot of time to examine the roof and share his thoughts about the current condition and options available. We decided on shingles and were told the schedule process would take about 3 weeks. We received a call within that time period and were scheduled for work to begin within 3 days. The dumpster arrived on Friday and the roofer team arrived 7:30 am Monday. They worked non stop with minimal breaks- the teamwork was amazing. Although English was not their primary language, their work ethic spoke volumes. Chris stopped in to check in on the crew and to chat with us. He climbed on the roof to inspect the work. Another foreman arrived for review and dropped off materials. The shingles arrived on an 18 wheeler mid day. Everything seemed timed perfectly. As promised, they finished the same day. They cleaned up the property beautifully and were responsible and respectful throughout the day. The choice to go with this company was the right choice. Our home is 94 years old and we have been the owners for only 6 months. The completed job looks wonderful and is another big project checked off. For quality service and exceptional customer service, this is the team. Comparable in price and no wait for supplies, they completed in one day ..., it checks all the boxes for us. Can't comment about the quality, but the experience was the worst. Signed the commitment and payment in March of 2018 and called them in August to get an approximate installation timeframe. They made excuses (weather, materials, etc.) but they still said they would have it done in the fall. They then emailed the day before Thanksgiving and said they would be in touch next YEAR about scheduling. They did process the refund upon request. Feb 2018 signed $40K contract w/Forever Metal for new black Everlast Everlock metal roof to be installed over synthetic underlayment over existing shingles. Assured work would be completed by 27 Aug. Not done, then told would be completed by 8 Oct. Work began 8 Oct. Crew did not speak English, and ripped existing metal roof off of potting shed attached to the house (not part of project). Roof damaged and siding stained when they put it back after urgent gestures to stop. Project proceeded sporadically over 3 months. Yard became dangerous mess: covered with razor sharp shards of metal, 100's of screws, used food and drink containers, & rusting tools left lying in the slush. Dumpster overflowing & half filled gasoline container leaking onto our driveway. Crew did not waterproof roof over foyer during project and water poured through - forced to tarp area ourselves. Project completed 17 Jan 2019. First leaks appeared 3 days later on 20 January: water dripping through electrical fixtures, down walls, freezing windows shut, through ceilings into kitchen. Mar 2019 the leaking roof tarped by Forever Metal. June 2019 flashing installed behind siding. Feb 2020 unauthorized photos of our home appeared on the Forever Metal website, and were removed immediately at our request (photos reappeared again November 2021). Feb 2021 leaks began again. Mar 2021, crew inspected area and noted another repair necessary to correct prior work. June 2021 work done. January, 2022 leaks began in same area, and other side of the house. Icicles through soffits, water and ice on siding, water staining, water through windows. Mar 2022 discussed next steps. Months of no updates. Arrived home on 22 Sept 2022 to find large, immovable, crate of metal roofing in middle of driveway, blocking access to our heating oil pipe. Called & emailed company to remove crate immediately, as it was prohibiting oil delivery, and notified Company President that we no longer wished to engage w/ the company and would find another roofing company to repair the roof. Staff member "Jim", stated via the phone that they could not remove the crate because it was delivered by a third party, not by Forever Metal. Have been forced to call third party directly to request they remove unwanted crate of materials. Poor communications, planning and follow through. Slipshod work. Do not recommend. Called to make an appointment. After about 20 minutes of going back and forth as to where I lived and what days they could come see the property we finally came to an agreement on the day. Two days before the appointment I get this call from Steve (left a message on my cell phone) he tells me he is in my neighborhood and would like to see the roof. The very next day (the day before the actual appointment) some secretary calls to cancel the appointment! If this is how they operate I can only imagine how long it would take them to finish replacing my roof. Very bad for business in my opinion! Shop elsewhere. read more

DO NOT USE THIUS COMPANY! Their business practices are highly questionable. They will pressure you into signing a contract, and paying a deposit. If you try to cancel the contract after your 3 day right of rescission, they will refuse to give you back your deposit, even if no materials were ordered, no date scheduled, and no other work was done. The owner is VERY belligerent, and condescending. There are many roofing companies in the area, so do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS COMPANY! read more
