I am giving them 1 star since I cannot give them 0 stars. In over 20 years of owning our home, this is the one company I will NEVER let set foot on my property again. I had them inspect my chimney which needed to have the tile lining repaired. They estimated $3500 for the work which ultimately cost over $5000. Before they touched it, my chimney had worked fine for 20 years. After they "fixed" it, my chimney no longer drafts as it used to and I get a lot of smoke backing into the house -- even with the damper wide open. Will be installing to a wood stove to fix the problems resulting from their work. A stove that they will NOT be involved with. read more

I was in the middle of installing a new roof when we discovered the metal chimney from the furnace to the roof had to be replaced. A pipe that was aprox 8 feet in length including roof jack. Ceaser Chimney does not offer free estimates, they charge you $200.00 for an evaluation. They showed up and checked everything and came up with an estimate of $3,000 for parts and labor. They arrived the next morning with the parts and started working, the parts that they had were the wrong parts, so they left and after running all over the state gathering parts, they returned 3 hours later and finished the job. I have been upset with this project but realize it was challenging. read more

I'm giving one star to the last technician that showed up today and took care of the mess they left last night . So I have been using these guys for 3 years last two years seemed perfect, inspection , cleaning everything passed except for a blemish on a pipe no big deal , second year cleaned inspected same report very professional email called when tech was approaching ect can't complain this year OMG , guy shows up said everything is failing inspection here's an estimate for $1200 to get everything up to code , he drops a pipe and couldn't reinstall it literally was clueless. The technician that came today was very impressive I showed him the issues and he was blown away by the service nothing was cleaned except for the Maine pipes. it took them an additional 2 hours to finish cleaning and repairing the mess the other guys left and before he left they cleaned the Damper and I asked him when was the last time it was cleaned he said probably not since you've been here meaning once again they weren't doing their job and when I asked him why my chimney pipe passed last two years but this year it's failing for not being the right height he said well to be honest they were probably trying to get the check as fast as they could unreal!!!!!!!!! the also left soot on the door. I literally never put a bad review but for the past two years these guys were essentially putting my family in danger for not doing their "inspection" real shady company save yourself the trouble and find a better company I know we will! read more

I hired this company to come look at my Chimney for repairs, I had to pay to have a crazy bogus high estimate from a guy how didn't seem to want to be there. I had another Chimney Company come for free gave me a reasonably priced estimate for the work that really needed to be done. My husband found this company from a Facebook Page, I highly recommend staying away! I really feel like it's just about the fee for these guys. read more

Wow! What an amazing job by Max and Rick. I was having problems with smoke coming out of my wood stove insert when I went to put more wood in. These guys can out within the week to take a look. Max educated me on chimney and wood burning tips. They were clean during the sweep and very friendly. I highly recommend this company! Yes, five stars for sure! John & his crew were professional from the appraisal on the job to the finish. Our chimney was a wreck and had to be totally knocked down and rebuilt. You will not be sorry if you choose Ceaser Chimney. We did have someone else come to the house for a quote. They counted the bricks and said no need to climb onto the roof for inspection. Unfortunately, my experience with Ceaser was not a good one and I would not recommend them or use them in the future. I scheduled an appointment on 9/11 to have my chimney and pellet stove cleaned. They arrived on time, which was great. Sadly after two hours in my house and no communication, they were unable to figure out my pellet stove. I understood and they left without charging me. This past weekend I attempted to start my stove and it would not turn on. It was brand new so I knew something must have happened. I called them Sunday and left a message. No response within 24 hours. I called again and they luckily had the owner come out within an hour of calling them to look at the issue. I do appreciate this portion of their service. They were here for about 2 hours with again little to no communication with me. My request was for them to fix my pellet stove. However, they went ahead and cleaned my chimney without my permission and then interrupted me three times while in a meeting to tell me I owed them 349 dollars. I pushed back as I would have never had them come out if they didn't have an incompetent member on their team in the first place. They then said it wasn't their fault and even though it was not put together the correct way it was partially user error. This was not the case and I was very offended by this. Not to mention Chad wasn't wearing a mask putting me and my entire family at risk. I will never be using this company again and encourage you to think about other options in the future. It cost more money to get new customers than to retain one. read more

Just had them CLEAN all the soot from my fireplace brick work inside! It was this very cool "peel" they painted on and peeled off. It looks great! They did major work on my chimney and now it's safe and usable for a wood stove insert. Bring on winter! read more
