Here's some of the comments that were made to me during my interview: Zach said, "you can only make so much money when you are on Social Security." I said, "I'm not on Social Security, nor am I old enough to collect it." I had to repeat that twice for him to get it. I am a woman, over 40, and protected against age discrimination by the law. Can't believe that he even went there. Then I was asked to submit to an in house, unannounced, drug screen swab, pre-offer instead of post-offer, no control or chain of custody paperwork or procedures utilized. Zach said "the screen is good for six months". If you don't take it, I can't send you out on an interview. I reminded him that I have a long time background as an HR Mgr. and Consultant. Told him I can't believe that this company would put themselves at such a risk as to ask someone to submit to screening prior to post-offer and in their office instead of a reputable clinic. If you have submitted to drug screening in any of their (family owned) four branches, Elkhart, Mishawaka, Goshen, or Warsaw, prior to a post job offer, tested positive for a controlled substance that you have a prescription for or were falsely accused of a positive Marijuana reading, and the company never placed you, I highly recommend that you consult a good attorney. You may have grounds to take action. Just felt it was my duty to express my concerns about how this company runs it's business.
