There are several buildings and little sheds to shop in! It was hot in the smaller out buildings, no a/c and we went in the summer - but the main store is cool!! All of the sheds are decorated with big, whimsical iron and tin flowers, butterflies, and other garden treasures! Great décor for your garage, front door, fence or anywhere you want a touch of whimsy! One of the buildings had everything 30% off and we found some tins, jewelry, dish ware, and tea things for a bargain price! Several vendors have handmade crafts and jewelry as well as candles and local honey. The porches runneth over with furniture, vintage tools, bird baths and outdoor garden items and more!! The owner, Theresa, was a doll! She was welcoming and personable. This is a must stop shop!

This cool vintage shop in Amelia is chock full of funky treasures! The aisles are tight, but we had…read morefun meandering through them looking at antiques and oddities. There were some vintage clothes, jewelry and handbags, as well as Knick-knacks, paintings, war memorabilia, books, glassware, and furnishings. The store stocked quite a huge collection of antique clocks which were pretty fascinating! The prices ranged from $1 to several hundred depending on your pocketbook! It's refreshing to walk into a vintage store and be able to spend just a few dollars! They are not taking advantage of their customers here! The owner, Jerry, welcomed us with a bellowing greeting! Think Miss Havisham from Great Expectations... so keep your expectations low. There's years and years of thick dust accumulated on furniture, rugs, lamps, dish ware... on every inch of this place. It was hot in there too... with the oppressive heat and the dust, my throat started to get dry and itchy. It's pretty cluttered, although some of the displays are nice, so you may spot a deal or two! You'll even find dead spiders in many of the glasses, bowls and vases, score! Lol! Jk. A 96 year old man runs this shop and he's quite an antique himself. He's a little out of touch with how much these antiques are worth... but he will haggle with you a bit. We actually had to help him tally up our total because he's somewhat scattered. He's a pleasant old gent though. We found some cool depression glass, however, several pieces were chipped so look carefully. There were many nice China patterns available, but most of his prices were too high. One of the plates my friend bought broke into several pieces on the trip home, so buyer beware. Outside was a hot mess... rickety garden chairs and tattered pottery strewn hither and thither, and junk piled up on shelves. All in all, this old curiosity shop may be worth a peek if you can stand the dust, but it's not a spot I'd frequent.

Alex was passive aggressive by making snide comments about a customer naming their child "Kevin", very loudly. Then when I was standing in line to pay, was asked "Are you waiting to check out?" I responded "Yes, I am." which she said "Come here", with her head down and no eye contact. As if I was supposed to know that she was ready for the next customer. Very rude, hostile and sarcastic. Would not recommend this line of work for her, maybe a desk job in a cubicle since her communication skills are poorly developed.

Service was ridiculous I've shopped in this building specifically my entire life never have a I…read moreever had an issue but here recently I was profiled and followed throughout while shopping mind you I've NEVER STOLEN or from anywhere for that matter I used to be a regular here until I moved to the beach upon moving back I chose to visit and bring a friend I've brought lots of business for years they don't even know I'm a collector and always looking for new pieces I don't not resell or any of that I spotted an unpriced item I took it to the counter I asked the woman if it was possible to do a price check the man aside her the one that was specifically following me prior decided to put his two cents in...there was no direct business with seller he was sitting in the side making it his personal business to involve himself with the deal so at this point I would've bought it but because he was so ignorant and persistent I didn't want to give them anymore business is especially since I had already started checking out NEVER AGAIN it's not even all that great just one of the few options in this area lesson learned if they look ignorant they are just like if I'm a minority he assumes I'm a thief
