    Inside the Belle

Amazing place with amazing hosts (Buck and Belinda), amenities, food, view, and simply peaceful and beautiful! Came early October for one night stay at the Belle (their yurt tent) and saw the early blooming stages of their sunflowers field. I really wanted to see the full bloom but I didn't have any other Oct dates available. Nonetheless, it was unexpectedly beautiful in seeing the field with many of them ready to be in full bloom in just a few more days. The hosts were amazing, kind, and accessible if you have any needs. Wonderful people!! Their food and drinks were all amazing. Generous with their portions. Delicious! And definitely IG worthy . Only thing is we were too full to enjoy everything and felt like we were wasting their food. When you arrive/check in (after 4p), you get these cheese, nuts, grapes, etc. honey boxes. We were pretty full from just one box. We normally eat dinner pretty late but wanted to watch the sunset (around 630p) and be able to see our food (or else it's too dark to enjoy dinner outside. You can always bring it inside the tent). Dinner was this delicious pumpkin bisque soup and salad. Half an hour later was desserts which are these 3 different pies that we were just too full to eat. But their lavender ice cream was delicious and I even saved one in the freezer (inside the tent) to add to the coffee the next morning. Morning came with coffee and pumpkin spice scones. Aside from great hospitality. We were amazed at how clean their tent and restroom was. They also have chickens (will definitely wake you up before sunrise) and goats Bella and Tulip. It's definitely peaceful, a short and perfect little getaway. On the way to and from you can always check out old town Temecula or go to nearby wineries. They also have a little farm shop that sells a lot of awesome lavender products. All in all a wonderful experience! Though they only have one tent for 2 ppl (max), so if you have a bigger family, you won't be able to stay there till they potentially add more tents - if they do. Only negatives (not a lot) are, their bathroom sink is low with a counter right on top so it was hard to do anything like washing face, rinsing mouth, etc. as you have to bend pretty low and squeeze your head into a very small area. BUT the restroom is cute and very clean. The other is if you are lactose intolerant, you won't be able to enjoy a lot of their food offerings which has a lot of dairy ... They also offer a lot of things inside the tent. Lots of pillows and blankets. It gets cold at night in Oct... ear plugs, makeup remover wipes, hand sanitizer, phone chargers, etc. And oh there's a fireplace!!! Highly recommend it!

I could not have loved this more; an absolutely magical day! The yummiest homemade veggie sandwich and scone washed down with iced strawberry lavender lemonade. Shopping in their beautiful farm store: skin care and edible goodies all homemade at the farm. Lavender picking, the divine smell of Provence and grosso lavender. I never wanted to leave and can't wait to come back for wreath and candle making.

They didn't have designated handicap parking but they do have closer parking if you drive past the flags and parallel park along the fence. We were the first at 8am to beat the heat. Cost: $10 pint $20 quart Cash or Credit Tips: -Wear a hat -Sunblock -Water -Wear close toed shoes -Watch out for fire ants! At least with blueberries, they were ripe and you look for the largest one. Blackberries are different because you only pick the black ones and ignore the red ones. Takes more effort to look for ripe ones that are decent in size to fill up our bucket. You'll have to look high and low. It can also get messy. When I paid, I asked for tips. He said he saw ripe ones on the left. So we went straight there and glad we did because other aisles were either red or empty. It's great for first time experience but I don't see us coming back next year unless there are more activities like food trucks, boutique vendors, blackberry snacks. I appreciate them opening the farm to the public but the heat seems to affect the berries and need more water and maintenance. Also I think it's towards end of July so it was a bit run down as more people attend.

The vibrant color and soothing scent are instantly relaxing. So many soothing benefits. The farm is beautifully maintained, and there's something special about breathing in the fresh lavender-scented air while wandering through the fields. There are bees, as to be expected (lol), but that's something to keep in mind. They also offer quality lavender products (like soaps, lotions, and oils) that make perfect gifts or personal treats. These can easily be ordered online as well. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Whether you're stopping by for photos, to shop, or simply to enjoy a peaceful afternoon surrounded by blooming lavender, it's a wonderful experience. For the You-Pick Event, admission is $30 per group (As of 06/30/2025), which includes time on the farm and a tube to fill with lavender, no matter the size of your group. Extra tubes are $10. If you don't want to pick, you can use your admission toward $30 worth of farm-made lavender products. Either way, it's a win-win. If you missed their You-Pick Event, don't worry, they often extend the dates, like they did this year! Lavender typically blooms from mid-June to mid-July, so be sure to check their website. Use the directions provided on their website; they're simple to follow, and watch for the signage too. Also, note that the road is unpaved in parts, so drive with a bit more caution.

Its the experience I was looking for, not simply just seeking lavender. Overall Loved it, crowd was very low key. Beautiful views, there were picnick tables. For me it was worth the 30 admission for a group, their page literally says "A group is anyone who comes with you 2 or 20," and includes time here on the farm and a tube to use to fill with lavender. I got a decent amount of lavender, looks like 500 or so stems. The young man inside was a fellow USD alumni always cool run into a fellow Torrero. The lavender is organic, so safe make things with. Fun activity. Their shop had lavender soaps, spritz, balms, masks and sachets among options to buy. Based on the experience definitely worth the 30 admission, getting lost, and picking lavender.

A hidden gem and one of the best family experiences around!…read more We had an absolutely amazing time at Sumnist Tangerine Farm and will definitely be coming back. For just $25, you get a bag that you can fill with whatever is in season. During our visit, we picked tangerines, oranges, lemons, and limes, but they have a great variety depending on the time of year. The orchard is huge, and one of my favorite parts was the owner's philosophy: everything you can eat while you're on the property is included. We definitely took advantage of that and enjoyed fresh fruit right off the trees. It doesn't get any fresher than that! The property is beautiful, the parking was easy, and the whole experience was relaxing and family-friendly. We saw plenty of families with strollers, and the walking paths were wide enough to navigate comfortably. Just keep in mind that much of the orchard is on a hillside, so I highly recommend wearing comfortable tennis shoes or closed-toe shoes for better footing and to protect your feet. One tip: their hours are limited (I believe they're only open on Saturdays and Sundays), so I'd recommend arriving early, especially on warmer days. You'll beat the heat, have the best selection of fruit, and enjoy the orchard before it gets busy. This is so much more than just buying fruit--it's an experience. We'll absolutely be bringing our friends and family back because it was such a fun way to spend the day. Highly recommend if you're looking for fresh citrus, beautiful scenery, and a memorable outing!

And just a few miles east of Old Town is their ranch in Aguanga, a beautiful 26 acre property that is open to the public for olive oil and wine tasting. The property is picture perfect for large gatherings and events too. There are several cute places to hang out. The small building that houses their "store" where they sell products and do tastings is so welcoming and so cute! The wedding we attended was held in the olive groves and the reception area was set up in the grassy area where there is lots of room for tables. The grounds are rustic and a little dusty (it's a ranch), really pretty with touches of cute and bright decor, and it is well kept. There are some animals too, which are always fun for the kids. We were fortunate to return to the property today with our church group. The owners, Thom and Nancy, are so gracious and kind to welcome us in. We had tacos catered in and hung out on the grassy area. Thom took the time to give us some history of TOOC and he took some on a tour. I missed the tour so I will have to return to get the full download. Even on a hot day, sitting under the shade of the big trees with an occasional cool breeze made it for a very pleasant afternoon! A visit to Temecula Olive Oil Ranch is a must do when visiting the Temecula area!
