Personalized egg cartons for our family! So cute

I'm beyond grateful to have found this business! We have been loyal customers since May 2025 and look forward to our weekly farm fresh eggs. It gives me peace of mind knowing we are eating the freshest eggs from well cared for chickens. Besides the fresh egg delivery the owners are the best part! Esther and Michael are wonderful people and we love to support there small business. They really go above and beyond and I will never go back to store bought eggs!

I came here as a way to disconnect and touch grass. I was burned out and desperately in need of some R&R from corporate life and left feeling genuinely restored. I'm a veteran, and I spent a peaceful weekend here away from the troubles in the world with my dog. From the moment we arrived, the pace of life slowed down. Open space, fresh air, and the animals just living their best life made it easy to breathe again. The giant loving dogs, I think Great Pyrenees, were unforgettable! So playful, so gentle. Watching them move calmly and intently across the property instantly put me at ease, and my dog felt right at home alongside them. The emus, definitely dinosaurs, were entertaining, the turkeys were full of curiosity and personality, and the chickens and ducks wandered freely like they owned the place. The pigs, happy and sun-soaked, were a pure joy to watch. I think what makes this place special is that it's a true sanctuary. Nothing feels rushed or commercial. The animals are clearly loved and happy and that energy carries over enough that I could feel it! After years of traffic, breaking news, and compounding stress, sitting outside with my dog, listening to nature and watching animals live peacefully was exactly what I needed. This place is a gift. We'll absolutely be back.

Visits are by appointment only, so my husband and I booked a session on Valentine's Day. This was hands down the best animal experience we've had, thanks to the amazing staff and adorable animals. The animals were friendly, engaging, and active, which is a testament to how happy and well cared for they are. Each party is given a complimentary bucket of lettuce to feed the animals, with more available for purchase. We got to pet and feed not only mini pigs, but also goats, ducks, chickens, and even a large, handsome turkey. And because it was Valentine's Day, the staff passed around glasses of sparkling wine for guests, which was an extra special touch. The setting is tucked away in a mountainous area, making it feel like a hidden gem off the beaten path. It was the perfect stop on our way to San Diego. We're definitely looking forward to returning again next time!

Admission was only $6 per person, and children under 2 are free, which makes it an affordable outing for families. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They answered our questions and gave us information about the farm. The barn is on the smaller side, but there were still plenty of animals to see, including ponies, goats, chickens, and sheep. Outside, we also saw a turkey, horses, cows, and a pig. We visited around 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, and at one point we had the entire barn to ourselves, which made it especially enjoyable with our little one. Storytime for little ones is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. After visiting the animals, we explored the produce market and were impressed by the variety. They had fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious pastries, breads, jams, and lots of other tasty snacks to browse. If it's your first visit, I'd recommend going during one of their scheduled activities so you can experience the tractor ride as well. There was plenty of parking, and I appreciated that they had a changing table available for babies and toddlers, which made the visit even more family-friendly. Overall, it was a relaxing, low-key outing that's perfect for families with young children. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to experience more of what Tanaka Farms has to offer!

Every time we drive through those gates, it feels like stepping into a different rhythm -- slower, softer, and full of heart. There's a calm that settles over me the moment I arrive, like all the noise of everyday life fades into the background. For a few precious hours, time seems to stand still. We spend our visits surrounded by the most amazing animals, each with their own story and personality. The people who care for them are just as special -- kind, genuine, and truly devoted to every creature on the farm. They always greet us by name, take time to chat, and make our son feel like part of their family. He loves to feed the sheep, who are so patient and gentle with him. I love learning each animal's name and backstory -- it makes every visit feel personal and deeply grounding. If you ever feel weighed down by the world, this is the place to go. It's impossible to leave without feeling lighter, calmer, and a little more connected to what really matters. And as a bonus -- they grow the most delicious fruits and vegetables right there on the farm, fresh from the earth that gives this place so much life. If you are looking for a special place to take your family, I highly recommend it!

First off it's huge and you are allowed to feed and pet ALL of the animals! They have so much to see! Cows, pigs, camels, and even a zebra!! I never thought in my life I'd pet a zebra, this experience is just incredible! They even have turkeys and peacocks that roam and even came up to us for some food! All of the animals were super friendly and adorable. We even saw the smallest mini horse ever that was so cute. There are also cats that roam the property and one of them followed us throughout the whole place. Can you ask for a cuter tour guide?! They also grow their own produce and sell eggs. We picked and cut our own pumpkins and left with some duck eggs as well! Overall this was just the most fun experience I've ever had. I regret not purchasing the membership because ever since I left I keep thinking about how bad I want to come back! This is definitely a hidden gem and a fantastic experience.
