John and "wife" are horrible to deal with. When his wife and or "receptionist" actually shows Up it usually 2 hours late. John's a drug user and there are far better places to be serviced. We own a boat that has sentimental value to us but would have not been worth re powering with a new engine. John had the perfect solution for us. If it wasn't for John and his crew I'm not sure I would of ever got back up and running. He worked with us to keep things on budget and really took the time to go over the small things that can lead to big problems. His shop was 4 hours away but it was 100% worth the ride. John is a Joke- repaired fuel pump on 6BT Cummins twice to the tune of $7500- still doesn't run correctly - took two years- never test runs anything- go to an authorized Cummins Dealer- these boys ain't it. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Got hung up on 10 seconds after she answered the phone. Was mad for no reason , took her bad day out on me.

It took ten weeks for us to get our boat back, only to find it hadn't been fixed properly. We dropped the boat off in mid-May, and were just able to pick it up today (August). When we questioned John (the owner) about the ridiculous price he told us we owed, he spat out a string of insulting expletives worthy of a drunken sailor. Now it's August--most of the summer is gone--and we have to begin our search again for an honest boat mechanic. John lied to us each time we called to check on the boat. Want your boat fixed right in a timely professional manner? Don't go here! 1-15-12 Update: Apparently complaining about John and his business is funny to him. I brought my 38' Henriques up to forked River Diesel for some engine work and they added a 70 gallon auxiliary tank. The boat was completed on time and under budget! I can't say enough about this Co. They are very knowledgable and honest. After this great experience with this Co. I told the owner John Lane that know one will ever work on my boat again but Forked River Diesel.
