A lunch time favourite for me. I love the panini, panzanella salad (topped with a delicate, creamy buratta) and, of course, that fantastic range cheeses especially the Italian ones. Lovely salumi, artisan pasta, preserves and condiments too. Friendly, helpful international staff. The one big draw back: NO ESPRESSO!!!! Why?

Out of curiosity, I opened the door to look inside. A very friendly staff member greeted and welcomed in. She explained it's been only a week or so, but the place has attracted lots of customers already. She showed me around and explained this place used to be a boutique for women's clothes. I liked the coziness and how they have converted to a cool wine bar. This is another wine bar with chairs which I love. There are a couple of small tables in the bar area, more tables in the backside, then a small courtyard section. They have tapas style dishes - cold, hot, more of meal dishes. I enjoy a bacon and egg roll with a glass of wine as Sunday branch. If I am there in the afternoon, a nice cheese plate goes well with wine... Staff members are very friendly and help you decide what wine you would like to have if you are not sure. They have great selection of wines and I am sure they can pick one for you!

The gentleman behind the bar had been let down by his casual staff member doing a no-show so he was under the pump managing the afternoon rush. This did not have any affect on the friendliness of the service at all. The wine list is extensive and you can peruse on your own or ask for suggestions and advice. Cheeses were yum but would have been even better had they not come straight out of the fridge but they did soften in next to no time. It was also really good value for the portions given and the waiter talked us through each different variety. Sweet potato crisps were salty and delicious. Without a doubt I will be back.

The cute bar staff with their hipster big rimmed glasses, styled hair, and low-rise skinny jeans, are not only very attractive, but offer up some acute knowledge on the origins of their wine list, and bar food. To start we were sheltered from the horrible weather outside, to a small thin table, which was a tad too long for proper conversation. Although, with olives and bread, good wine and good music (although a bit too loud) there wasn't much room left for an intimate conversation. We shared 3 plates, starting with the Burrawong duck's liver pate with sweet and sour onions for $14, which was smooth and divine, although the onions were a bit on the small side. Second we had buffalo Mozzarella with shaved prosciutto for $15 which melted in the mouth, the creamy cheese was godly. Third we enjoyed the Sashimi style Whitebait served with olive oil, lemon juice, and mint, thinly layered and served, it was sweet and tangy from the acidic lemon, and smoothly soft in texture. The wine list was amazing, and next time I will get the waitress to explain to me each wine of choice, as the extensive menu put's a damper on being indecisive.

Located just off 75 Mary Street, this place is a little hard to find and you probably won't stumble across it by chance as it's located a little back from the main road. Went there for a birthday party and the winery has a great setup, especially for a private party. This is a working winery where the grapes are brought into and you can see all the machinery that is used to make the wines.
