Last year one of her employees cancelled my home owners policy so my home had no insurance for over a month before the BANK informed me that my policy had been cancelled. Then they never processed my flood insurance request so I had no flood insurance even though I live right on a bayou. They apologized and told me they'd do better so I stayed with them. Well, today was the last straw; I had a water pipe break on the weekend. I got the water turned off, and then I called the office because I didn't know what steps to take next because I knew this would be an insurance claim based on the amount of damage. The office recording said, "If this is an emergency, call Debbie at home at...." So I called the number because I didn't know what I needed to do and I wanted her to guide me. No answer on the "emergency contact" number. So I left a message thinking someone will call me back quickly. Nope. They finally called after almost 36 hours. I advised them I'd already taken care of the issue myself. Not exactly helpful to say "call this number in an emergency" and then to never bother answering your emergency calls. This is what I pay an insurance agent for... that THEY handle all this and I don't have to phone insurance companies, and figure out what I'm supposed to do and when. If I wanted to be ignored in an emergency I'd go with eSurance or some cheap online service insurance company that doesn't have agents. An insurance agent is supposed to be MY support during a crisis. Frankly I'm not getting that at all anymore... so I'm going to be taking my business elsewhere. So disappointed.

Plus their customer service is great they call to remind you a week prior to your payment is due (because my husband doesn't believe in banking) and will ask if you'd like a courtesy call the day before as well because they don't want to seem like they are harassing you. Mostly because as a Vietnamese I always try to find chances to support our people's businesses whenever I came. I have to say it was the best choice I made. The entire office was so nice and professional, that include Linda and her brother, Peter, and Edith. For all the time I was with them, I always had the best quotes and best care. It feels like a family rather than an insurance company where we have to be vigilant and often get ripped off. I also want to compliment State Farm for the same reason. They reached out to me when I had a small fender bender and didn't pay attention to the accident besides my safety. They took care of everything so professionally and fast that I couldn't believe it. I moved around a little bit in town, and whenever I reported the new addresses, they would cut me a check for deduction if that place is a bit cheaper. That's so moving! Now I have permanently relocated to Pearland, I had to leave Linda Nguyen and State Farm for a local agency and a different company with regrets. They however failed to make me their customer, to try and make the story short I'll give highlights I don't escrow, I pay for my taxes and insurance, always have, always will. My mortgage servicer sold my loan. For some unexplained reason Rockland sent letters to the Rocket Mortgage instead of me. If they knew which side their toast was buttered on they would have gotten ahold of me, because Rocket mortgage has not once written a check on my behalf, and I'm certain they never will. I didn't even get an email from Rockland insurance asking for payment, not even a letter The new mortgage servicer Nation Star mortgage, made me pay almost 5 times the premium price for almost 2 months of coverage. All the money I seemed to save with Rockland was wasted by failure to interact with the customer. I still pay my bills.....and in this case I'm on the hook for a lot more than I hoped for. My new insurance broker, I have insisted they call me with the slightest issue and especially lack of payment.
