We had hail and wind damage to our roof, siding, deck, and outbuildings. I contacted my insurance company and they sent an adjuster out to inspect. They decided to pay for about 60% of a new roof and only repair small portions of the other damage. I didn't know what to do, having never been through a homeowners claim before so I started calling roofing contractors. Every one of them basically told me I was out of luck, they didn't want to replace parts of a new roof and I would need to pay out of pocket the difference.
My last call was to Forrester Brothers and Todd Forrester, one of the owners, answered. He met with me, looked over the damage, looked at the insurance report, and said he disagreed with their findings. He was able to get the same adjuster to come back and do a re-inspection and pointed out lots of additional damage that was missed. After this, the insurance company agreed to replace the entire roof and make the additional repairs needed. Todd dealt with my insurance claim, fought with the adjuster, and helped make sure I got enough money to complete the repairs I needed done.
Then after all that was done, the work done on my house was of the highest quality and done as timely as possible given the circumstances surrounding my claim. I would have been lost without such a good contractor on my side during this and I recommend these guys any chance I get to anybody that has roofing or construction needs in Oklahoma. read more
