From my childhood up to when I…read moregraduated from College, this place was a go-to from grocery shopping to picking up medicine from the pharmacy, which sadly is no longer available. Last month, I went home due to a family emergency. In the meantime, I went to do some shopping during my stay. Let's see how things went. I went shopping there twice both during the morning time where there were less people. The store itselt is completely different from when I was there many years ago. Of course, the pharmacy no longer exists and isles have been moved around. The store itself was neat with just about each item stacked perfectly. And you can also get discounts if you use a Winn Dixie card or a phone number on file. Just like many grocery stores, Winn Dixie did raise prices on items, especially on snacks. Why would someone want to buy nearly $7 on a bag of Doritos??? Come on!! I know inflation hit stores across the country, but still. Too much compared to before. Other than that, I thought the visits were just fine. The next time I'm in town and in need for local shopping, this is where I'll be.

The only thing we aren't allowed to do is take a verbal which is not what was asked of her. Every time I have had to talk to this particular pharmacist about a transfer she has been very rude and she has been this rude to other techs too. Why would you go off and have an attitude when you don't even know the laws? Not even to mention all the people who no longer want to get their medication there because of how rude she has also been to customers. They need to tighten up for real because I will not be talked to like that and neither should anyone else. She needs to fix her attitude

The pharmacy service is really good, this is a good spot if you need to buy a quick present or if you forgot to buy the drinks for your friend's dinner. Another interesting thing is that for some reason most of the cashiers are usually smiling and nice, some are even willing to make small talk (if you want to)... I'm just saying this because it's a warm feeling when a cashier treats you as a person lol This is the kind of place that you are not thankful for until you don't have one around! Of course when you're in Baton Rouge, there's a memorable meal around a lot of corners if you choose well. Then there's the "I forgot to pack" syndrome which for me has included various toiletries, stationary, and charging cords. In these situations, the nearest chain drug store (Walgreens, CVS, etc.) is the best bet to restock. This one is on the way to the Plant, is easily accessible off the road, and has what you'd expect for a Walgreens. Nothing more nothing less. .I stopped in last week, they had what I needed, and I was soon on my way as it should be.

They offer all the standard items of convenience stores from snacks, drinks, lottery in addition to household basics, medicines and of course, souvenirs and NOLA specific goods. Pricing here is a bit high, but that is not surprising. They know they are in a prime location and when you come here, you are paying for convenience. The store needs some TLC conditionally, and a little bit more attention to cleanliness wouldn't hurt. Service was super friendly and welcoming, which was a redeeming quality for this location. Overall, solid 3.5, but the cashier really made our day. We wandered in for a soda and drink, and got what we were after, but if we needed more than that, we would probably go elsewhere due to price point. But again, this spot came in clutch when needed.

I personally have switched to another pharmacy but my parents and son still need to use Walgreens and it is literally a hassle EVERY SINGLE TIME. There is always an issue, they are constantly closing for the day, zero communication, automated system is incorrect with updates, they just don't fill prescriptions until you come to get them. I had them send me to another Walgreens just for the other Walgreens to send me back. I absolutely loath having to use them. It's so bad that this was actually part of what swayed us to move. I can't wait to be rid of them!

So far, I have kept up my dose schedule for the 10+ years I have been on my medication. When I moved to Natchez and began using Walgreens after a brief and unsuccessful venture with Walmart's Pharmacy, I had no problems. The women working in the cash register and interacting with the public are always kind and friendly. Even on those days or moments when things are busy. About two years ago, a white lady became a pharmacist. Ever since she has been a problem, I can only say she is the most miserable and unhappy person who hates her job and people. She has caused me nothing but trouble in getting my medication on time. I don't know if she hates me because I am gay or if she hates me because she hates blacks and gays. Regardless, she is downright pathetic when it comes to customer relations. Today, she claimed her name was Lisa only after asking for her name and clarifying it was her name and that she was the pharmacist. She was reluctant to do so! She works on Sundays a lot. Today, she was a genuinely hateful person who kept telling me, "I don't know" as to why my medication was delayed. This coming Tuesday, I run out of medication, which then puts me in jeopardy with my regiment, and I may require a new type of medication. Frankly, I intend to talk with a lawyer and the local prosecutor because I believe she has purposely put my life in jeopardy because of her hate of me, gays, and black people. This is a much longer story, but I have only this short description of events to tell you that the problem is with 303 Devereux Dr, Natchez, MS 39120 location. As for the manager, he is pretty useless and can only go "uh huh" when you talk with him.

Don't go here. Pretty sure the employees are running some…read moresort of scam. Tried to buy a few items (that part-great!) and also get cash back. The kicker is that I didn't want to use a random ATM in the city based on potential legitimacy issues. Only to get scammed by a billion dollar corporation. The self scan machines let you enter AND PAY for the cash back, and then throw an error and you're unable to get money out. No employee (including the manager) will reverse it, give you the money or do anything other than say "I assure you it didn't charge, it'll fall off your account". Or being told to fight it with my bank. I assure you, we've been back home for 3 weeks, it very much didn't fall off, and I have now been wasting my time with chargebacks through my bank. Don't go here.
