They also have a great a large knowledge of a lot of the books they sell. They often can give you a good summary of the book. The prices are very good as well. A lot of the things that they carry would be good if you were headed on vacation, or off to the beach. A lot of the clothing is probably geared towards women younger than me (I would feel weird wearing a 'Girl Gang' shirt), but everything is moderately priced and very wearable.

While he was looking at the hobby/collectibles shop down the street, I stumbled upon Three Sisters Boutique. It was a quiet weekday morning and the shops on Pine street were just opening for the day. I arrived and loved the cute clothes and accessories at Three Sisters. If I wasn't on vacation with a mostly empty wallet from spending too much money in New Orleans, I would have probably spent more time and money in this establishment. It is upscale, boutique clothing in a quaint small town. However those designer labels must come at the boutique price. They had some lovely smelling candles from a Louisiana company with cute Louisiana-specific scent names (Southern Bell, Fleur de Lis, etc). I'm not sure if I'll ever be in the area again, but I would highly recommend it for anyone on their way to or coming from New Orleans.

The Old School has their dressing rooms closed so uniforms can not be tried on, but they still decide to charge a 15% restocking fee because a teenage girl needed to return the school uniform shorts that didn't fit and were purchased only TWO days ago (never worn and still had tags on). Absolutely ridiculous! We usually buy all of our uniforms here as well as our monogramming. From now on we will drive to Sport N Center in Denham Springs.

I was looking for a couple of hair products and combs for braiding ; this store has great potential! It is very organized and clean. They have a wide selection of braid hair (pre-stretch, extra long, solid color, ombré with natural and other colors, etc.) I wish I took pictures but I was in awe!! They also sell hair dye & bleach. I was pleased to see this because my usual beauty supply stores don't carry bleach, developer, or colorful hair dye so I also have to make seperste trip to Sally's. On the other hand, they don't have a huge inventory as fair as hair products like gel, conditioner, curling cream, etc. --I would say on average there were only 3-6 items in stock The employee present was extremely kind, greeted everyone as soon as they entered the store, and offered her assistance. She helped me get signed up for their rewards system which I LOVEEEE because if you shop at a beauty supply frequently (at least multiple times throughout there year), you know how much money is spent to invest in hair/beauty maintenance. It's a big plus to get discounts/rewards after accumulating enough points I will definite be back now that I know they have so many braid hair & hair dye options! I hope they are able to expand and get more products/stock in the near future too. I can only imagine it being a bit tough being new in a heavily saturated market but I recommend stopping by here and seeing what they have to offer!

We love Ms. Madi's Thrift store! We visit weekly. She has a Food pantry for those in need,…read moredifferent helps available for the homeless. She's usually giving away school uniforms or has them extremely cheap. My kids find some kind of treasure each time we're there. Lots of Vendors specialty items right by the front counter. Be sure to check out the Boutique section as well- it's mostly new items with tags still on them. A Gem in our little town for sure. Ms. Madi is the best & has the biggest heart!
