In fact last time, I was there very recently, someone named Jasmine, apparently saw me bumbling around with one of those self print stickers and my package and personally adhered it, and made sure that my package was taped sufficiently and mailed it! I mean, this is the kind of thing people are looking for in any employee: anticipating issues and handling them. And this is exactly the kind of service I can expect at this post office. Now do I wish that they still had dropbox outside so I didn't have to go in? Yes. But that is not a branch decision or certainly not by the branch employees.

Unless you have not much else to do, aka employment, it is very difficult to finish a book in 2 weeks. Also, the library content is mostly "side b" books, not the bestsellers. Popular new books can have waiting list for 80+ people for that ridiculous 2 week reading period. Forsyth county officials should be ashamed of not serving the public very well. Where do the tax dollars go? Staff are friendly and operating hours are decent.

I was there on Friday August 15 to print something for a protest the next day. I told that woman to…read moresee if the computer can print 11 x 17 poster paper. She told me it doesn't work and she and I find solutions to make it resemble to a poster. She showed me the different options that resemble a poster. There was a one option in which you print 8 x 11, in which it is like a normal piece of paper and you print each four individual pieces of papers. That four individual pieces of paper have four corners and when you cut it you can make a poster out of it. So I choose that option, I just want to say thank you to the librarian to take the time to show me on how do it. It was good customer service.

Just a tip for those parents wondering what two valid supporting documents are needed. A certificate of school enrollment from school would be 1 and the other could be your car registration with the parents name and current mailing address on it. My son took his permit test here and we brought health insurance card thinking that would suffice since it has both our sons name and parents name on there but it didn't have a mailing address on it so the initial clerk rejected it. What was a little confusing to us was that we didn't have any bills or documents with Both my son's name and our name on it. Kind of in a bind and not wanting to have to drive back home to get another supporting documents, she said a current car registration with my name on it, would suffice despite it being my son who was taking the test. The clerk at the window was very kind and helpful and my son took the permit test with no issues. Wait was not bad at all and facilities were clean. 3.4 stars rounded up since its summer make this review a solid 4!

Dams are structures built to primarily obstruct the flow of water usually built across a stream or river constructed by man or beavers, yes there are many type of dams and in some cases provide a life-sustaining resource to people although some seem to obstruct the life of some - it's been rumored that salmon hate dams as do those that work to promote to protect the swimming right of fish. I guess one would have to weigh the pros and cons to pick a side being millions of each species are affected since humans eat fish the fish usually lose. Dams are an extremely important part of this nation's infrastructure--equal in importance to bridges, roads, airports, and other major elements of the infrastructure. They can serve several functions at once, including water supply for domestic, agricultural, industrial, and community use; flood control; recreation; and clean, renewable energy through hydropower. It's nice to know this dam has a revenue stream beside my five buck so the return on the investment is shortened. I came here at the right time on the right day - the generating stations were operating so the lower river was filled and the water was racing to its next destination so probably not the best time to float on a tube or kayak. I was somewhat surprised or maybe amused to see signage on the bank of this river that's designates the shoreline as a life-preserver zone, thankfully the government is providing this knowledge or we might have some people from the gene-pool wondering in to this massive deadly volume of rapidly flowing water, it seems the wildlife in the area understands the danger without barriers or communications. I wish I could of gotten closer to the structure so I could see the water boil from beneath the discharge of the generators but I was happy to see they do have a walk bridge a little downstream of the dam that allows you to cross over and experience the power of the release up close without a life preserver and only requires a little common sense sometimes a "danger sign" isn't needed for the obvious threat. I'm a fan of dams and understand I'm screwed if the dam burst during my visit even though I am parked in a designated paved parking lot far below the water level on the other side of this massive structure even though there is no signage inform me of this fact...
