When other Vet Clinics tell you to take your animal to NC State, understand this is his Alma Mater. The clinic has equipment to perform a lot of the same procedures like chemo for animals. All that I can say, in my experience ONLY,(so please don't blast me) is that you pay for what you get. Is the practice expensive? Well it's not cheap. However, Dr Dale has cured my cats when all hope was gone. He NEVER RAN unnecessarily tests. I can't THANK Him enough for all he has done. Today was our last visit with Ambassador. Very unprofessional! We have been bringing our dog here…read moresince we first got our puppy over a year ago, and until now we were mostly happy with the care, aside from a few minor issues. That changed today. The staff was extremely rude and condescending in the way they spoke to us. We were barely able to ask questions about our dog or discuss the concerns we had without being belittled by comments that were made. We were made to feel like an inconvenience simply for being there. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was also very unprofessional. When we asked for an itemized bill, the receptionist scoffed and read the charges aloud instead of printing it as requested. Overall, the experience was disappointing and uncomfortable. Based on how we were treated during this visit, I would not recommend taking your pets here.

But Dr. Seals told us his heart was perfect and that he only pulled his muscles. So we were sent home with gabapentin and a brand new prescription food for him that we were told was 100% refundable if he did not like it, he did not like it. But we never got that refund because we had opened it, which makes zero sense to me. How are we supposed to know if he liked it or not if we didn't open it? The next day we had to rushed to the emergency room with Simba, as he was struggling to breathe by that point, and they told me his heart was severely diseased. Simba should have been put down that day, but we were sent home and end up spending an additional $500 for his euthanasia and cremation care after spending nearly $500 after Dr. Seals told us he was fine. If you ever come to this location, only see Dr. Faircloth. We've only had amazing experiences with Dr. Faircloth with our two previous animals.

On Aug 6th, I received a phone message from somone, not stating their name, whom they were with, or any name of mine or reasons, but that I had an appointment Aug 8th. I did not return the call as the number came up anonymous. The next day Aug 7th, got another call, this time the number was identified, by a woman who did not give her name, saying I had an appointment tomorrow. She finally told me who she was calling for, but still would not give me any address, so I assumed again it was a scam, but she finally identifed my dog's name. I again told her, never ever call me again. The issue is that more than 6 months passed from the time I requested an appointment, and I do not get any mail, email, any phone messages, or anything that they have received my request, and you think I'd leave a family member of mine with them? Not happening.
