Purchased $1000+ plants.. a few of them did not make it.. went to get replacements.. never thought of reimbursement . was just worried about getting some shrubs to match others.. was told to dig them up.. bring them.. which I was planning.. and received a call that evening.. that we.. my Father & myself were "invited to not ever come there again!" I thought the gentlemen was going to tell me to not worry about the digging.. I am disabled and my Dad is handicapped.. alas that was not the case. I returned gentleman's call.. he never called that day.. so.. I never really got a reason.. until I had noticed another voicemail that evening.. and he was trying to backtrack.. I had already sent an email telling them I wanted 50% of the plant values or I would see them in court.. as I was not allowed on property.. this is the 3rd nursery in a row that has told me not to return.. as I wear my hat.. "Don't Tread on me." .. tends to be an issue here.. cannot wait to get to Florida! Be weary.. if You are not the right kind of customer.. they don't want YOUR money. Absolutely, my favorite place to go. I spend way too much money there and never regret any of it. The plants are amazing people to help you are amazing, the whole experience is like going to another world for a short period of time. I appreciate everything about this place and there are so many different plants... The selection is absolutely unbelievable. I am by no means a great gardener, but my entire front yard is planted with plants that I've gotten from the nursery. What a great nursery! I came here for the first time and wondered how I hadn't been here before. They have an excellent selection of plants, equipment, materials, and all the stuff you might need. I am excited to come back in the Spring when there will be even more, to include some trees. The service was really great from everyone we talked to and the plants are cared for quite well. My happy place! I have always experienced excellent selection and service here. I'm not above buying plants at Walmart sometimes but, I must admit, the perennials from this nursery come back stronger and more luxurious in most cases. You can also receive experienced advice and product recommendations - a fertilizer I bought for a sick tree last year probably saved its life. Or if you're in the market for a tree, I give them 5 stars for purchasing and having them deliver and plant it for you. Although I dabble with gardening, a three digit investment on a Kentucky Coffee tree felt extremely daunting to me. The communication, service and obvious tree approval was well worth the extra fee. The setting here is also just lovely and fills the soul. What could have been a 10 minute trip today turned into a half hour of browsing and admiring! read more

I was looking for succulents plants for my office. To my surprise, this place has more varieties selection compared to some of the local nursery (so far). I found they carry several flowers cactus plants. I also like that they have affordable bonsai plants (~$6.99 without bonsai pot or decoration). Staffs are very friendly & helpful. I would recommend everyone to check this place out because it the big nursery in Fort Collins so far that I know of. read more

We've come to love Fort Collins nursery and have purchased our last several trees from here. Scott was excellent to work with as have the other staff we've dealt with. This afternoon, Jeff walked us through options for our yard. He had an obvious knowledge and love of plants and was able to help us choose the best shrubs/trees for our needs. Before making our purchases today, we compared options at another local nursery. Fort Collins Nursery had a much better selection of shrubs and trees; and I feel Jeff better understood what we were hoping to achieve with our choices. I'm sure we'll return when the garden calls! read more

Uninviting atmosphere. Pests flying around so I didn't buy anything as I'm not trying to bring them into my home. Also had a little fenced in area with "rare" plants (not really anything all that rare) and a hilariously Karenesque sign calling stealing plant clippings worse that regular stealing. I get wanting to keep plants whole, but this is so incredibly off putting for regular customers. Anyway, Bath Garden Center has this place beat in every sense and is like 5 minutes away so don't waste your time... read more

This place has great wind chimes, indoor plants and trees! Staff is friendly! Well worth going to if you are on the east side of Fort Collins. An interesting comparison for comparison shoppers is that Bath is to the south near Prospect so if you find some things you want at Fo Co Nursery but not all you can always try Bath and vice versa. read more

Giving this place a review as our family purchase much here. Big selection. Prices ...are prices at any quality nursery... High. I will say ...they stand behind there products. We bought 7 bushes...4 died w/in year due to a fungus... They refunded all 4 with a store credit...which was no problem using. They do an annual Father's Day special ...buy a tree n three will deliver and install (they dig the hole!). So ... It's become a tradition. This is my go-to place spring-summer-fall. They hands down have the most knowledgeable, helpful & friendly staff. They have a great selection of perennials, shrubs, & trees. Their plants are all healthy and year-in-year-out grow far better and are more robust than any plants bought from a home supply store. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I don't know much about bonsai trees but someone there was able to help me pick stuff out for my husband. He was really happy, so that made me happy! I also got him a gift certificate and we went back and got some beautiful and unique orchids, and even got venus fly traps for the kiddos! This summer we have been working on our landscape and stopped by Fort Collins Nursery. We were looking for some plants for around our deck and we were greeted by Matt. He helped us choose plants that would thrive under the conditions in our yard, that would fit the space/height needs that we had as well as be something a bit unique. He recommended many different plants, helped with color, layout, planting and maintenance information. We returned three more times for plants around the yard. My husband and I drove down from Cheyenne to pick up some Milogranite Fertilizer. This brand of fertilizer is not sold everywhere and we couldn't find it up in Cheyenne so we drove down to Fort Collins to get some. This is a beautiful and cute nursery with a huge variety of plants and helpful staff. I could honestly live there! It's gorgeous and has so many varieties of all your favorite plants. You can tell that all the plants are very well taken care of even the ones that are very difficult to care for. I bought a beautiful "Swiss cheese plant" and it's doing beautifully. They are a little bit pricier than say your Home Depot Garden Center or O'tools but I say the price is worth it because you know your getting a healthy plant. Today I ordered an orchid for a special friend who lives in Fort Collins, while I live in Toronto.
