This library also has a scanner (one station), a copy machine, and a fax machine for those that need those type of technological assistance. The library has your most up to date publications that ranges In both fiction and non-fiction. It's collection covers more breadth than depth of topics or subjects you may be looking for. This library also allows you to check out DVDs for your entertainment pleasures and have audio books on demand. If you are looking for a place to relax or finish up those training requirements, than the JBLM library is a place for you to check out. Also conveniently.. there is a Starbucks next door at Waller Hall should you become sleepy or thirsty while perusing through the catalogs.

Maybe you are not aware of Los Angeles AFB...lol. One base that I "REPORT" to is Fort Lewis. Lt. Milanio reporting to duty at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Due to security, I will not go to specifics about JBLM. Fort Lewis and McChord Air Force Base combined makes, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). The two specifics spots that I love going to are the Commissary and the PX or the Post Exchange. Items purchased in the PX are tax free. Yep, another benefit of working and/or living in the base. Just like any other city, there are McDonald's, Burger King, bowling alleys, homes, movie theatres, and banks. You would never notice who are soldiers because they are all in civilian attire. Maybe the person writing this review is a **censored**. All I can say is JBLM is a great place for both soldiers and citizens. Well, I can't say too much here, but I am glad to visit JBLM from time to time. The one thing you will notice at JBLM....No, not the military vehicles, but the view of Mt. Rainier. This DMV/DOL SUX!!!!!…read more One of the BIG difference is the DMV or as Washington State calls it "The Department of Licensing". "DOL" for short. This DOL is crazily mismanaged. They really don't know what they are doing here. So, I'm going to list some things why the DMV/DOL really SUX here: 1. It's called the DOL and not the DMV 2. Registration is half of that of California. 3. Multiple offices in any given town. 4. Wait time is less than 10 minutes. 5. Some offices are open late. 6. Many offices are open on the weekends. 7. Drive thru service is available. 8. Absolutely no forms to fill out. 9. Office people are nice and friendly. 10. If you do not have your renewal notice or registration with you they can look your vehicle up by driver's license. 11. Office staff actually are knowledgeable. 12. Time at the business window is less than 5 minutes. 13. On a good day you can be in and out with in 10 minutes or less. 14. No lines. 15. Absolutely no penalty or fees if your registration renewal is a few days or several years late. As you can see the DMV/DOL is absolutely HORRIBLE here in Washington State. They need to be a proper DMV/DOL where it's fame make it into TV and movies.

DuPont is a small circle of a town that seems to basically be all military. There is a lot more than military now in the town though with Intel, State Farm, and the new Amazon distribution warehouse. It just doesn't seem as there is much room for DuPont to grow since all the land around it seems to be owned by the military. I wish it had more restaurants or maybe even a real grocery store and not the general store downtown. I guess most people shop on the base or Lacey/Lakewood. Maybe just having enough to barely keep you busy is how the people of DuPont like it. I do love that I can go through DuPont to get to Steilacoom, University Place, Lakewood, and elsewhere to try to avoid I-5. I just wish there was an entrance into DuPont from Mounts Rd as traffic can be weird in the morning with the truck station and people exiting to go to the base.
