Instead of fostering a respectful and supportive environment, many staff members handle issues poorly, dismiss student concerns, and fail to address real problems like bullying and fights. Teachers sometimes act unprofessionally by showing favoritism, enforcing rules inconsistently, or treating students disrespectfully. The dean and principal, especially Mr. Antony, seem more focused on strict and unnecessary policies--like the harsh phone rules--rather than actually improving the school environment. Their lack of leadership and failure to take student safety and well-being seriously make it clear that Mountain View is not being run the way a school should be.

Even with the multiple times we have moved away only to return, my son has always attended Evergreen district... I think we always figured he would end up here. Being Montessori based, the school focuses on the whole child, which after years of attending public schools has allowed my boys to again love learning. The teachers pay close attention to what makes my children "tick" and the space to make their own discoveries. Maybe it's a school that doesn't believe in using bleach. Or maybe they don't clean it Friday afternoons. I don't understand.
