I called Hoover and spoke with Darlene - who is Amazing I might add. She not only made our move happen but also got us an earlier time slot than we had with the other company. Reno and Isaiah F showed up to move my parents and were absolutely Fantastic. Quick, efficient and not one thing was knocked or damaged. Even if a stressful situation is what brought me to Hoover the Mover I'm thankful it did as it forced me to try a new mover and the experience was hands down the best I've had to date - and I move A Lot. I'm So thankful for the team I worked with and for finding an amazing, professional company that I look forward to working with in the future. 10 out of 10 recommend!

I was a customer of this facility for 7.5 years... until today…read more The facility is actually very clean and secure. However, the new manager is very unprofessional and rude. The long and short of it is that the new owners changed their storage rules. And without informing me, they unplugged some low amp trickle chargers that I had connected to my classic motorcycle collection, ruining two batteries and making it nearly impossible for me to move the 5 motorcycles that I had stored. They never informed me when the disconnected the power. Just let the batteries die with no notice. So after speaking to the new manager, I decided to move from the facility. He would not let me charge the batteries or use any power to re-inflate the low tires so I could move. Then today as I was moving out, he decided to come to the unit and confront me instead of just letting me move the last 2 bikes out. When I told him to leave me alone and let me continue to move out, he actually called the police and told them I threatened him! anyway, the police were fine with me and I got my bikes out of there to a much better facility. It's too bad that they are so bad with their customer service. And that manager needs to find a job where he doesn't have to deal with people!

HIRE THESE FOLKS!!! Was very pleased with Fire Dawgs. Got a good, solid estimate, which they stuck…read moreto. Arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, but they called first to see if it was okay (it was). They asked the right questions about what goes where, what gets thrown out and what gets saved. Basement was in a major (bad) state, and this was the first step in getting it cleaned out. And being an old guy, I couldn't do it myself. They did an excellent job all around. When they explained why they couldn't move out one large piece (a work bench that they said had been assembled in the basement) they offered to move it out of the way so the cleaners would be able to work efficiently. They did everything right. They did it efficiently and effectively and courteously. They were helpful, and understanding, and very very careful with the stuff I needed to save (for family/memories). I would hire them again in a heartbeat. In fact, I may need to call them again next year to move some stuff out of the UPstairs! Hire these folks. You won't be sorry. In fact, you'll be very pleased. p.s. While Fire Dawgs did a great job, the folks at PODS, who were supposed to send a container to store my stuff while the basement was being cleaned, "rescheduled" at the last minute to the next day.
