The owner, Dustin went out of his way to still honor our reservation and made sure we could still take our 30+ kids bowling. It's been years since I've been to this location but I was so impressed with the remodel. We all had a blast glow-in-the-dark bowling and hanging out. There was plenty of street parking outside with a parking garage around the corner. The sister Escape Room is located in the second floor. This room is easy to find and get into. The place was very clean and comfortable. The waiting room is welcoming while you prepare for family battles! The game show experience is made for people of all ages. We had people from ages 8 to 80. There are 8 stations that can easily accomplish two to three contestants. The room is fun and inviting. The floor and huge screen make you feel like you are on a really game show! Leah was our game host. Leah was outstanding. She was very thorough as she taught us how to play the game. She did an excellent job at guiding us along, cheering us and helping us get excited about the competition. We really appreciated how Leah helped draw in all contestants of all ages into the action. Well done Leah!! The actual game was a blast. We played small snippets of various games. You might not be good at Jeopardy...but you didn't stay there long and then you were on to a new game like Wheel of Fortune. I think we played about 8 different games in the 90 minutes of fun. Each game reached people of different ages and knowledge levels. Each game kept you engaged, entertained and excited about your groups time together. There were plenty of open lanes, I had a great selection of shoes and there was so little noise you could literally hear a pin drop. My only complaint is that the place seemed understaffed and there really wasn't enough light in the building to see my ball roll down the lane. I felt very safe when I looked around the building and saw not just 1 but nearly 20 police officers on duty protecting us from the various threats of Columbia City like rioting, street gangs, Isis, and many others. After our second game, we saw what we thought was the mystery machine from scooby doo pull up outside. But instead of a couple of awkward teenagers and a talking dog, a bunch of black storm troopers hopped out of the back. I kind of like Star Wars so I wasn't really complaining. It was kind of cool to see the reenactments in person and I'm really surprised the bowling alley of such low, fair price could afford a Star Wars reenactment right before the big premier of the new movie this year. The performance even ended with a life sized R2D2 that actually roamed around on its own! SO COOL! Overall my experience was something I'll never forget. On the web page in the frequently asked questions it states they have no public restroom. And when you make your reservation it will say this in the email at least twice. 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the lack of facilities.

A large paved walking path, soccer fields, tennis court... not one, but TWO cool (and safe) playgrounds for children 2-12, which have modified equipment for disabled children and gathering spaces for all ages to encourage inclusivity. The bathroom facilities are unfortunately closed (I think this may be for the season,) but there was a portable toilet in the parking lot for use. There is also a splash pad that must be hopping in the summertime! Looking forward to seeing it in action. I don't live close by but the trek is worth it as the possibilities are endless for young children and the young at heart at Kreager Park.
