I went here last month. I haven't been to the dentist in 5 years. Mainly because I was deathly afraid. I didn't trust anyone. And I didn't know where to go. I'm from New Orleans and I moved to the DFW area in 2015. My teeth had plague that I could brush off and there were some sensitive spots. So I knew I needed to go to a dentist but I was concerned about the sensitive spots. But my concerns were lifted. The staff took me step by step through the procedures, cost, and recommendations. Most importantly, they noted my sensitive areas and cleaned them without much pain. I didn't know the sensitive areas were cleaned until I got home and stared at the mirror for about a hour. I can't say the same for everyone. But they definitely took care of me. I recommend them to others and can't wait to go back later this month. read more

This is a review for the customer service I received in 2019 front the obese old white female who was the receptionist at the front desk and not the dental services itself. This is the second time I came into this business where the lady in the front desk was rude and unfriendly to me. When I walked in, she stared at me (she wasn't busy at the time), never smiled, never said hello and curtly said, "What is your name?" in an annoyed rude curt tone. BUT ONE MINUTE LATER a Caucasian male walked in and she was super sweet as pie to him and said "Hello! How can I help you Sir? What is your name please?" Totally different treatment like night and day. She treated him with the utmost respect in front of me one minute after she treated me like crap. When I complained they told me to find another dentist which I did. My dentist who I have been with for years now is a million times better than this one. The old female who is the receptionist is a miserable hateful person who dislikes Asians obviously. Their lame response below "We are sorry you feel this way" is NOT an apology. It is a non-apology that has no empathy and has no accountability for the receptionist's rudeness; and they are implying that my feelings are the problem. I am now paying $30K to fix the mess that was made of my mouth by this business (and that's just my upper 'teeth'). If all you need is cleaning and/or fillings, they are great. But implants, don't let them touch you. All the implants they put in came out within the year. Implant pegs were left in my sinuses and I have no upper teeth. The attempt to fix this broke within the month. Have now gone to an oral surgeon and he had to attach my new implant to my cheekbones as there was no longer any bone to attach anything to. If you need implants, please go to a Dental Business that does nothing but implants. read more

Went there to get a simple filling. The doctor was not attentive, made injection quickly and painfully, so the flesh around the tooth hurt for the next month. Also, the dentist suggested a veneer on a perfectly healthy tooth to try match adjacent crown color, which is already perfectly matching. Told them I didn't need cleaning. On my next visit they acted as it was already decided that I will get one. And they claimed my gums were inflamed and teeth needed special "deep" and expensive cleaning. All positive Google reviews were written within 1 month. Sus. I do not recommend. They only care about taking your money. read more

When I called for appointment I told them I had medical issues and could they help me and said yes .I get there and I get a referral to another dentist they couldn't help due to my medical history. Guys. I hate dentists. Hate them. Have had several bad experiences and spent too much of my childhood in the dentist's chair. Jan was my (I believe) dental hygienist today and I think she might be an angel. She calmed me down, told me exactly what she was doing and talked me through the whole treatment plan and follow up and why different steps were necessary. She even used numbing gel on my gums since she knew my cleaning was going to be uncomfortable. It was the most thorough and best experience I have had at a dentist in years. I have been coming to Dr. Arthur Mund since I was a young girl and after 20+ years, there is no one else I trust with the health of my teeth. Over the years I've strayed to visit other dentists simply out of convenience (I live in Dallas), and sadly none of them can compare. Not only is Dr. Mund extremely knowledgeable as a dentist, but his bedside manner is very pleasant yet professional. My dental hygienist has always been Veronica, and even though I'm 100% certain the other hygienist are great I only book with her. It's been a pleasure having a dentist that has had pictures of me on his office walls when I was 5-6 years old, that has been able to stand the test of time by staying ahead of the curve in dentistry. RE: BILLING AND SERVICES ONLY Since treatment started I have had a repeated breakdown in communication with the office manager regarding my account and services. Never have I experienced such a loud, rude, and argumentative human with NO respect for customers or her boss. She must sign his check, REALLY!! BTW, an apology should be heart felt and not backed with lies. They got paid and didn't render complete services. SMDH!! Never have I had dental service without having my teeth cleaned first. Probably my favorite dental practice that I've ever been to! If you hate going to the dentist and just want it to be over fast - this is definitely the place for you. They don't waste any time, if you show up early they'll bring you back and get the dentist in ASAP. Everything is done in a timely manner, absolutely no waiting around. The office is very nice and modern, not dirty at all. As soon as you walk in you'll get a warm hello from someone at the front desk and they'll get you checked in immediately. And the ladies always remember me! I don't even have to tell them my name (and I've only been here maybe 5 or 6 times). Jan is the hygienist and she's so friendly! You'll love having her clean your teeth, she's very thorough and gentle! They have 3 dentists but I've only ever seen Dr. Zang. He's really nice and has no problem answering any questions, he won't ever act like you're inconveniencing him. I love that this place doesn't waste my time. Before I came here I went to a dentist where I was there for THREE hours - for a CLEANING!! I should have just walked out of that place, three hours is ridiculous. Fort Worth Dental will never make you wait more than 5-10 minutes. Ever! They have tv's in all the rooms that are always on HGTV - huge plus for me. Do yourself a favor and come here! 2 years later and I still love these guys, in fact- I was pregnant during my first review and my little girl just had her first dental appointment ever last month with Dr. Razo! She was amazing! So warm, patient, and kind- even with my screaming 20 month old throwing an Exorcist level tantrum! I see Dr. Zang and highly recommend him to adult patients, he's a no-nonsense kind of dentist who is sensitive to patient's pain thresholds. The office staff is ALWAYS extremely friendly and accommodating. I've had to have an emergency temporary crown put on with both my kids present and they were amazing with them, even keeping an eye on the little one. I really can't praise this practice enough. Their pricing and planning is always thoroughly explained, the wait time is never long, and they are extremely accommodating with scheduling. I won't be going anywhere else anytime soon! read more

Dr Zang has been my dentist for more than 15 years. I couldn't be happier with the dental work. He has provided over the years. I do not have dental insurance, but Fort Worth Dental has their own insurance which is very reasonable and not only provides discounts for services, but also six month checkups, X-rays, and cleaning.
