I went in for an annual physical--all preventative, no pressing health issues or concerns. When I got my bill, there were 4 additional line item "screenings" added to my basic doctor visit invoice ($241) that never took place. There was a 5th line item (for $246) called "Advanced Care Plan 30 minutes," which is apparently where you bring someone to represent you on your behalf, helping you make medical decisions, because you are either a minor or not of sound mind. What?! I was alone on this visit!! The doctor told me at the end of my first visit that I had to have my blood drawn and needed to schedule a second visit to go over the results (this was before I got the bill), and sure enough--another line item added to my second visit ($350) that NEVER HAPPENED! After several different phone calls to their billing department and office manager over the last 4 months, they are finally agreeing to remove the "mistaken" unnecessary charges totalling $837 (fingers crossed). Clearly my trust is long gone. The staff seemed nice enough, probably because they thought I had good insurance...I guess they didn't plan on my reading my bill. So happy I choose this hospital for my minor outpatient procedure…read more Very smooth and fast check-in. While waiting for nurse my exploring eyes went on duty. Though I wasn't able to eat or drink the break room area adjacent to entry/check in provided vending machine goodies and drinks. With free coffee and baked chocolate chip, peanut butter and sugar cookies. Nice! Within minutes from checking in the nurse came to take me to pre-op. She wasn't too engaging with an early morning dry approach that changed to a bit more engaging when I refused to remove my yellow knit cap for their paper blue. *Lol* Jennifer, Gladys, Doc P and anesthesiologist made me feel very welcomed, comfortable and in good care. My procedure per Doc P went very well. Aftercare staff was attentive and informative along with assisting for release. If I had to use this USMD again I wouldn't hesitate due to the Nice, Clean facility with Warm and Friendly staff.

Due to scheduling conflicts, I also see PA- Katie O'brien on occasion and I have found her to provide the same excellent level of care. The MyBWS portal has always worked perfectly for me. It is a great one-stop shop to message providers with concerns and get prescriptions refilled, new appointments, general answers, etc. We are strictly a BWS family and only see BWS providers. Their ER is substantially better than the other choices in Fort Worth's medical district.
