My parents have accounts with JPMORGAN chase bank and the funny thing is that after years of using…read morethis bank as their primary financial institution suddenly their account was hacked. Multiple charges for out of state utilities ( New York and Maryland for example) and no one at JPMorgan chase considered this strange for a customer who has been paying for utilities in her own state for years. Why would they suddenly be paying for multiple other states in the same month? Don't their employees have the common sense to question unusual activity on people's accounts? My parents are out literally thousands of dollars, they've had their phone, power and gas cut off, auto insurance shut down and they are still getting other bills returned as bounced checks. Plus after changing the account number they're STILL getting fraudulent charges on the account. Shame on you JPMorgan Chase for not ensuring the safety and security of your clients accounts!

I moved many accounts here because I believed they cared about their members and I would have a…read morebetter experience than a bank. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case. They've had two instances when they had an opportunity to resolve issues for me and didn't. Also, the terms on my MC are really aggressive, much more than the other credit union I'm a member of and I don't see how that helps their customers. Plus, getting past the security screening is sometimes really infuriating, they ask you questions you have no way of knowing even though you're the account holder, and then treat you like a criminal because you can't remember which brand you went to last time. On another day I might have given CFCU a 2, but they just really ticked me off by giving me misinformation on the phone about claiming a payment that was only 11 days late. They made me think it was going to harm my credit, but it is not. I thought all credit unions cared about their members. This one? Unfortunately, not so much!!

I have been a loyal customer of CFCU for over 25 years, but am leaving them because the last 5…read moreyears their service has become simply awful. It seems ever since they built their new headquarters on Cty. CB outside of Appleton, they have not pursued customer excellence. Case in point: my husband and I had acquired and paid off two mortgages, two personal loans, and a car loan with them over the first 20 years, and then when asking for a new credit card they would not issue one until we had a secured card with them for over a year. Fine, we did that, but since we got the CC, the VISA department has messed up on where to send our statements twice, did not credit the amount transferred to the balance, and now TWICE they have added payment credits from prior months back onto the balance. This is ridiculous! And when I call the service line, I keep getting dropped. Three times I requested a call back, and each time they call, the call drops as soon as I pick up! Speaking with a rep today and got dropped again. Unbelievable.
