Finally, Steve Replogle is a Doctor of Osteopathy, not a medical doctor. The distinction is largely inconsequential as a DO may provide most of the services of an MD. I asked if they could see her for something like that and was assured that they could. I was then told that they couldn't "look" at her injury until tomorrow morning and that because they're not actually "seeing" patients in the clinic that the "visit" would be a teleconference. I was flabbergasted! I would have asked for the name of the lady I spoke to but she hung up on me when I said, "You can't think the appropriate treatment for an injury this severe is a phone call." I now know people say it's worth the drive for medical care and in the future my family certainly will.
