That level of compassion is hard to find, and it made a huge difference in my experience. She is not only knowledgeable and professional, but also deeply caring. I feel confident going into my surgery knowing I'm in good hands. I was told yes, so imagine my surprise when I was billed almost $4,000 because my insurance was denied. Every time I've called in with a question, the front desk seems as though they have better things to do, and the nurses brush off my questions. Luckily, I only visited here from March to May of 2025, but I felt unheard by the nurses and doctors. Dr. Haddad was nice, but he ignored many of my comments about the timing of my cycle and took 19 vials of blood from me at once. Many staff members overlooked my concerns, and I did not feel compassion from them for my past miscarriages. I moved back to California after this and had to call a few times to get medication refilled. The process was difficult, and my medication was sent to the wrong pharmacy without my knowledge or any note in my chart for me to check the location. This medication was time-sensitive and necessary for me to keep my pregnancy viable, so the lack of urgency was very disappointing.

I pleaded with her in person that it was our first appointment and if they can reconsider. We were turned away. Not only that, one of the midwives write me directly and took me in for a quick ultrasound right away to put my nerves at ease (b/c of my age and my history of 2 miscarriages). She is the best (Dr. Embree). They have a financial plan for uninsured people that worked well for us and the staff here is all sympathetic and caring. I wouldn't recommend any other place. To me, the doctor who stands by your side minth after month is the most important part of a pregnancy and I struck gold with her. If you're in Yuma a d expecting, please check this place out. The billing department is far from accurate I recently received a bill from them from 2016 "because they had just been audited" mind you that it is 2018. The head of the billing department, Connie is rude and condescending and not at all helpful which you would expect more from a supervisor. Bottom line I am never going back. If anyone knows of a good OBGYN in town I would really appreciate it.

I have been seeing Dr. Vining for 5 years or so now. He has helped me with several issues and even when he knew he was stumped by my circumstances he helped me get referred to the Mayo Clinic. The only reason he is not a 5 star Dr. Is when he is in the room with you he will spend a lot of your visit time reviewing stuff on the computer not conferring with you. I recommend Dr. Vining he is very knowledgeable.

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis back in 2015 and Amon was my OB but he was out of the office and…read moreDr. Suciu was the one who performed my surgery. Flash forward 3 years later and I start having pains again just like before. I schedule my appt and Amon doesn't believe me. I get told it's likely scar tissue from my surgery in 2015. I go home and I don't like the answer. So I go back and see a midwife who schedules me the ultrasound and they see bleeding. I have to see Amon again because he's my doctor so I do. He quickly schedules my surgery and off we go. Turns out one of my ovaries was fused to my uterus like a little teapot. Now I'm in recovery mode and Amon gives me Vicodin for pain management. I don't like it, it makes me feel worse so I switch to Tylenol/ibuprofen, same stuff I used to manage the pains I had before surgery. Well the surgery pains lasted longer than my recovery time and I asked for more time off but my work needed Amon's approval for FMLA. I also came down with a cough and it was making my abdomen more painful. BOTH Amon and his assistant accused me of wanting more Vicodin. I still have the bottle from 2 years ago. I never finished it, it made me feel worse. Well I start crying in the office and tell Amon how unhappy I am with his care and how I had to FIGHT to be taken care of properly. I've since moved to Dr. Kelur who is an OUTSTANDING and caring doctor who actually listens. I would not recommend going to Amon for any endometriosis issues. He made me feel like I was stupid and lying and worse of all... an addict. If you need a surgery for endometriosis I would recommend looking in Phoenix or another big city. This had been my plan but my surgery was scheduled so quickly, without checking with me on dates, that I had no time to move doctors. The whole experience was awful and I wouldn't want anyone to experience the frustrations I had. I hope this is helpful and that you can find the right OB for you based on this review.
