Breakfast was excellent, and location was perfect for exploring Haarlem although it would not have mattered if I was a little off the Markt. The bad: The room is in the back with windows looking into a brick wall. Ear plugs are provided because anytime a door is opened or closed elsewhere in the BnB a huge noise is made. The restaurant is closed at night on Monday and Tuesday and we had to find a different restaurant for check in.

The staff is very friendly and customer service is better than most restaurants in the Netherlands.However, I don't think they have a very organized system as you can literally starve while waiting to be approached by anyone to take your order. Don't get me wrong, they will take your drinks order quickly, but if you want a bite - that's a different story. So if you are at dinner, you'd better order an appetizer as the entree could take an hour before served.
