Discount beds does exactly what it says on the tin, offers discount beds and mattresses…read more I visited recently on the look out for a good quality small double sized bed. There is plenty of parking within the grounds of their unit and it's easy to get to (though I wouldn't visit on a Sheffield United match day due to its proximity, unless you like struggling for parking and sitting in queues of traffic!) As soon as you walk through the door there are a large range of display beds for you to browse, with the main room splitting off into smaller areas with yet more beds. I was looking for something fairly specific, as not many beds will fit up our stairs, so needed to have a chat with the staff. Despite being busy organising deliveries and taking phone calls, I was offered help by a member of staff who was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Their prices seem competitive and comparable, so I'd recommend you give them a try if you are on the look out for a bed.

Called…read morein one weekend to try out a few different styles, must have been there over an hour testing them with no pressure from the salesman Ben who was very helpful and knowledgable with the mattresses. We made a decision, ordered and it was delivered free within a month. Hand made and such good quality and so comfortable, worth the expense. We were glad we had given our trade to a local independant rather than some of the larger well known bed shops where the service is not as personal. Certainly worth checking them out if you are in the market for a new bed. Thanks Junction 26

Did you know we spend a third of our lives in bed? That's why it's important to get the right bed…read morefor you, you deserve it. I went to The Bed Warehouse in Perry Barr to find i could choose from over 2000 frames, mattresses, headboards and so on. This place was perfect if you're in the market for anything bed related. Graham Hollier is the boss, he started the warehouse over twenty years ago and tells me He's still the first in, in the morning and the last to leave the showroom at night. It's a family run business and the team make sure you leave the store absolutely satisfied. Silentnight, Myer's, Sleepeeze Sealy are among other top brands at reasonable prices with free delivery. I had a super king-sized leather bed with silentnight mattress and it's the best bed in the world, you'll have to take my word for it as my girlfriend reads these reviews!!!

If they have it in stock then great if they dont then forget it! The shop itself is large and has a lot in it, however it is all crammed into small spaces which makes things difficult to find. The staff are not exactly overly helpful neither as majority of the time they dont know what you are talking about, and when they do they dont seem to know if they stock it or not. Queues are to be expected here the staff are very slow and there is usually only one person behind the till at a time. In short if you know what your looking for and you know where abouts in the shop it might be then you should be ok but if you dont you are probably best looking elsewhere for it.

I've been seduced by a beautiful bedspread or Emma Bridgewater teapot many times. A lovely place to buy presents from (or treat yourself) as you always feel you have something a bit different to what everyone else has. There are that many people who walk slowly thorugh the central walk way that it takes a long time to get down to the food hall. The staff I feel do their best to cope, however there simply arent enough tills in M&S. Particularly in the food section. The food is expesive but generally worth it (especially the raspberry royal). The security guard in the Lincoln brach is creepy, he seems to follow anyone who doesnt walk with a stick or own a mobility scooter.

Also have xmas they have a fantastic display with some great offers. the main problem is though it is totally over stocked so finding what you want is difficult as everything is piled on top of everything, but if you can it will be a lot cheaper then anywhere else. The staff are friendly and helpful. But do not go in with a pram as you will never get round, let alone back out again, as the aisles are that narrow and stock tends to be piled out and falling off the shelfs everywhere.
I always stop here for cards... in Grantham. Personally I think they have the best cards. Now…read more.. if Grantham had a Scribbler... done. However, they don't, so I stop here for really beautiful cards. So why only three stars... sometimes the really nice cards are super expensive. In fact in one case, I did not have enough cash, so I got out my... wait for it... non-chip and pin card. At first things seemed to be going ok, but then the card was declined. So she asked if she could run it again, but she threw away the receipts. I didn't think anything of this because in the past, when this has happened, I was only charged once. This time I was charged twice! When I asked if they could refund one of those charges they said they needed the receipt from one of the charges. I explained that the staff member had thrown them away and not given them to me. And I was told that they couldn't do anything about it then. So, the next time someone says they'll just throw away the receipts... insist that you keep them. Lesson learned!

It's a bit of a funny store: it isn't 'budget' cheap stuff, but it isn't expensive either. It's in the same sort of boat as BHS in terms of quality and price. I love Mackays baby stuff (I'll never call it M&Co!). They've got a really cute selection, and although it isn't cheap they do greatly reduce their sale items, so it's well worth visiting regularly. This store is a fair size and has womenswear and childrenswear, but no men's dept. Nice, spacious and clean, and staff were always pleasant when I've been there.
