She was almost there for a month. My mother died because of him. He was my mother's Dr and many times I told him my mother needed to be in ICU and he kept saying "no she doesn't". July 15, 2025 my mother was good, but neurological did not look good as if she had a seizure or a stroke. I told him to get a neuro evaluation with the neurologist so she can get evaluated and do a EEG test of course it never happened. Thursday July16, 2025 my mother was in coma state and still no ICU. Her bun which is kidneys was extremely high 125 level which is almost the end of the max number and still he said "no she doesn't need to go". He neglected her care since his words to me were " your mother is actively dying". I experienced this with my mom at other hospitals and told him to give her Lasix to remove all the fluids she was retaining in her body but he stopped it because it was lowering her blood pressure. I told him her kidneys will get worse and will affect all of her organs if he doesn't send her to the ICU sooo they can stabilize her with the ivy drips to bring her blood pressure and once that's stabilized they could gradually give her diuretics to get rid of the fluids and still days " no she doesn't need to be in ICU. He stopped doing blood test and trying to stabilize her pretty much left her in her death bed. On Sunday morning she was in a complete comma , no one cared for her floor at 4th floor telemetry, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my mom. I got ADM Lisa on her room and complained how can a patient this bad still be on a regular floor. I told everyone she needed to be in UCU or she will die. That Sunday afternoon I called one of her Drs at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ and he accepted, and requested for a medical transfer, he even agreed with me that she sounded like she needed to be in ICU. The next day I was going to call first thing on the morning Monday morning July 21,2025 to a supervisor since patient advocate at St. Claire's in Dover NJ was not returning my call. I received a call from St. Claire's Hospital from my mother's floor that my mother coded fast response was working on her doing CPR to bring her back. Thank God, my mom was revived because I was crying to God in tears to bring her back and he did. That same morning, Monday, July 25, 2025 I went to see my mother at the Icu. I couldn't believe my eyes. She was retaining so much water I told him that she should've been Icu a long time ago, but Dr. Grella neglected her and rejected everything that I was asking him to do as a Dr. my mother was in such bad shape that it was going to be very hard to keep her alive because she was going through multi organ failureI. had told Dr. Grella that she need to be an ICU many times he actually stopped in to see my mom and I told him to his face. I told her she needed to be Icu and this evil doctor still said to my face "no she didn't". Are you kidding me? He's a monster and deserve to lose his license. I always have been very supportive with the staff as my mother caretaker. I knew my mother could live because she has gone through something like this before in other hospitals and they were able to stabilize her, but because he refused and pretty much had my mom on Palliative Care and Hospice without any paperwork or consent my mother's dead because of him !!! I beg you not to ever have anyone that you love under his care. The pain that he put me through because of the net Medical neglect that he did with my mother it's unforgiven and unacceptable. I had to bury my mother this Friday, July 26,2025 because of him!! I will not stop here because I swear to my mother's soul that this DR refused to continue treating my mother and acted as if she was in hospice even thought she was not because all he left saying ".there is nothing I can do she's actively dying". He failed as her Dr and now I don't want this to happen to someone else!

Techs were complaining about getting Arby's for lunch. I was put in a room and started doom scrolling to pass the time. The doctor never came in. I opened the door and 2 techs were standing there. The one that put me in the room acted surprised and said "you're still here?" Then made some excuse about not turning on the correct light. I waited some more, then left a note for the doctor saying it was 1 pm and I was leaving. Not the first time I waited for over an hour here. They overbook which makes me feel like I am just a billing event and not a patient. Dr Levey always seems rushed so I figured the exam would be too. Waited until today to post this to see if the doctor would call and apologize. Of course that did not happen. I would not have posted this if she did. I understand that people make mistakes, but they need to own it. Suggestion for the doctor, have them print your appointments for the day, plan your time accordingly (maybe have them book your time so you are not so rushed), cross them off when you see them. Maybe then you would have realized, you missed me. Your room light system obviously does not work. Especially when your staff is distracted by the lunch menu. If you want more feedback, call me.
