They were very welcoming and had spacious changing rooms for families. The pools are larger than the ones in Brentwood and have a nice ledge to sit on when you're working with your baby. They took us through a lot of lessons as a part of their training and the new coaches seemed excited about teaching classes soon. We enjoyed our class and would definitely be willing to go back to this location again!

Our nanny has been to several swim schools and says this is the best he's seen and really likes it. Occasionally one of the babies will cry the whole lesson but mine has loved it! It's located in an old Aldi Supermarket. The water is 90 degrees and the building is completely warm. The dressing room has two changing rooms with a baby table, otherwise there is a large baby changing area in the open. The hard part is changing yourself after baby. I recommend to have a partner if you're bringing a baby, although only one can get in the water. There is a lot of viewing space. There are 5 lanes, each with a class going on. Classes are 30 min and can be once or twice a week. They also offer winter camps. You're allowed to make up a class if there's a reasonable reason they missed and that is all done through the portal. Overall, I highly recommend it!

This has turned into something our family looks forward to every Sunday. In our first session, our kiddos was not making gains on a skill. Through evaluations, it was decided she needed to take the level again. As an educator, it was comforting to know Foss does not push students through unless they are ready. We have now had Miss Mya for two sessions and couldn't love her more. Our daughter has become so comfortable with her. She will even jump in to Mya and leave me poolside. She is compassionate about her work and students. We have been so lucky to have her on our swim journey. If you are thinking about getting your kiddo lessons, do it. We love Foss!

We were greeted when we walked in by warm, friendly staff who explained everything to us. I cannot rave enough about the swim instructors with my daughter. She made them work on night 1! As a behavior analyst, I was impressed with their skills with balancing rapport building and following through to push her. She was "that one" that was loud and screaming and no one was visibly bothered. Also before going I was skeptical of how much can really be done in 30 minutes with a small group of 3/4 year olds. I was also impressed with how quickly they move between children's turns, sharing attention with each one, and keeping the pace moving!

I've watched videos of children smaller than her tossed into a pool and able to back float or swim to safety. I'm sure some of this will come in due time but for the cost, more aggressive teaching would make me happier. I do however appreciate the warmth of the water and that it's not chlorine. That reeks havoc on black children's hair.

Which isn't inherently a bad thing, but the vibes were dead. Absolutely no atmosphere at all. Once again, nice staff, but we are hesitating on joining because this place needs a re-vamp. Also, it's strange that they keep your drivers licenses during the tour. We had to wait for them to be handed back.

The building and equipment itself, while centrally located to Kirkwood, are a bit dated. It could stand to use a facelift but I understand that's what keeps the rates affordable and the people coming back. They also offer many classes (like sports leagues, CPR certification etc). And even discount to the Trout Lodge - a very large camp / lake site for fun activities. I would love to try that out some time. I would also like to try out their pool too!
