My first visit to this dentist, like the previous Yelper I too have a fear of dentists (don't we…read moreall?) - but today was a very relaxed and pleasant visit. I was prompted to go because of some pain that told me something really bad could be coming. The office itself is rather like a sprawling modern house. I think that there are as many as 8 dentists practicing there (see pic), but I only met one, Jag, who was amazing. As it turns out I had actual 'procedure' today - just exploration and X-rays. Trust me I have many probing dentists elsewhere (in the US mainly) and pain always follows but Jag was SUPER cautious and all was without any screeches from me. We determined that everything was structurally sound and the pain was either sinus related or a nerve playing up under an existing crown. For today we left it at that, take an anti-biotic for a week and then re-examine - most likely to the endodontist for me to drill through the crown and do a root canal (hopefully painless!) and save the cost and hassle of having new crown made. 5 stars so far!! I would have given Alexandra Dental Care a 5 star rating but as I have a massive dental phobia, I…read morecan't quite bring myself to do that. I have to say though that I couldn't fault the care and attention that I got. I would recommend (as much as I could any dentist) Alexadra Dental Care to anyone who is nervous about visiting a dentist.
