However, while I don't LIKE going to the dentist, these guys are very good. Professional, friendly people, great dentists - and (most importantly) pretty much pain free! Indeed having root canal and falling asleep during the process is surely a wonderful outcome and a great compliment to the dentists work and customer care. I have had a LOT of dental work over the years but my experiences and results at Bridge Dental make me rate them highest of all. Two molars up - oops I mean two thumbs up!!

My first visit to this dentist, like the previous Yelper I too have a fear of dentists (don't we…read moreall?) - but today was a very relaxed and pleasant visit. I was prompted to go because of some pain that told me something really bad could be coming. The office itself is rather like a sprawling modern house. I think that there are as many as 8 dentists practicing there (see pic), but I only met one, Jag, who was amazing. As it turns out I had actual 'procedure' today - just exploration and X-rays. Trust me I have many probing dentists elsewhere (in the US mainly) and pain always follows but Jag was SUPER cautious and all was without any screeches from me. We determined that everything was structurally sound and the pain was either sinus related or a nerve playing up under an existing crown. For today we left it at that, take an anti-biotic for a week and then re-examine - most likely to the endodontist for me to drill through the crown and do a root canal (hopefully painless!) and save the cost and hassle of having new crown made. 5 stars so far!! I don't even like sitting in the chair! Ashley is very calm and so patient, allowing me to use self hypnosis so I can relax and receive treatment - most recently this was root canal work so a real achievement! This was only possible because I have absolute trust in Ashley. With a family with one dental phobic, one needle phobic and three children, it has been so hard to find a practice we can all feel comfortable in, but in Shams Moopen, we have at last acheived the impossible. Access to the ground floor is good, with wheelchair/buggy ramp to the rear of the building, and parking is not too bad considering the mostly residential area. They are one of the few practices to still be accepting people to the full NHS list, and the NHS dentist is great - you often find you get the trainee/not-so-good practioner doing the NHS work in many practices, but not here.
