Neat! I bought some cards with his artwork. I also loved the steel sculptures by Jean Pierre Schoss, especially the tiny ones. Cute! I read online they are made from recycled steel oil tanks.

Not only is this a gorgeous art gallery, but it's a very unique AirBnB as well! I mean, how often…read moredo you get to stay in a studio suite located INSIDE an art gallery?? I felt like I was in Night at the Museum after business hours haha!! The hostess, Lee Ann and her husband were the sweetest, most considerate hosts I've ever had!! Not only were they extremely thorough, communicative, and available, but they made me feel so welcome and at home! They even had a basket full of goodies waiting for me - including some incredible varieties of homemade muffins that were some of the best I've ever had! The suite is located just off to the side inside the actual art gallery but there's plenty of privacy - you can enter through the gallery or through your own private back door so it's totally not an issue. The suite itself was immaculate and HUGE!! Especially the bathroom!! Complete with a dining table, couch and little sink/microwave/fridge area. The WiFi worked well - no issues. And the TV even had nice cable available. But there's so much to keep you busy in the area I hardly watched it. There's a perfect porch off the suite with patio seating, a grill, and incredible views of the mountains! I was there in early October and was just a tad too early for peak fall colors - but the color was starting to come in. I imagine it's positively breathtaking at peak fall color!! And they had some hummingbird feeders outside the windows which was such a joy!! The grounds are extensive - there's a huge field outback with a river at the base of the mountains - tons of birds chirping! The gallery is also centrally located in proximity to tons of ski areas and lovely towns/cities like Montpellier, Woodstock, Killington, etc. Great location!! The suite is very handicap accessible- even the bathroom and shower - very well set up for it. Parking is in their private gravel lot outside the gallery. The art work is just lovely as well and made by the hosts - so talented!! I had such an awesome experience- can't say enough good stuff about it! I will definitely be back anytime I'm in the area!

Both of our kids (7 & 12) had a great time painting along with my husband and I. Tyler was super helpful and knowledgable! Like many small towns I've visited before and grew up in there is always a store that sells…read morehandmade crafts. What makes this store better then most of the others is the variety and craftsmanship that can be seen throughout. It also doesn't hurt that you are greeted by the happiest and sweetest dog there upon entering the store. The store itself was beautifully maintained and organized. It had a flow to it that just drew you to ever corner. From the front display of handcrafted metal worked lights to the far back of the store's amazingly knitted coats and hats there is something for everyone to see and purchase for a country home. There is a wide variety of kitchen items such as cutting boards and cheese knives that match with the wood fire glazed pottery. Across from the pottery and kitchen items was a knitting selection of mushrooms and other out there figurines such as fish and sock monkeys. But, the crown jewel of the store in my opinion has to be the jewelry. These items which ranged from necklaces to ear piercings are all handcrafted and beautifully worked. Every case had the name of the crafter on it and the store owner could provide you with more info upon request. Overall this is 1 of 2 stores that should be on everyone's must view list when visiting the town of Woodstock, VT.

Being an amateur furniture maker myself and also having been in the wood industry my whole career, I love wood. The furniture that Brent and his craftsmen make at Clear Lake Furniture is top notch. They have many different designs that you will not find in any furniture store and the quality is exceptional. After we checked out the showroom with a good representation of the what they can do I noticed a sign on the doorway that leads down to there shop which invites you to go down and explore the shop and talk with their craftsmen. Well I couldn't pass that up so down we went. We were welcomed by Mark who was very glad to show us around and see some of the beautiful woods they use to make their amazing furniture. He also explained that each piece of furniture is made by one craftsman from start to finish. So if you are interested in some handcrafted custom furniture, do yourself a favor and check them out.
