I haven't dealt with Dr. Malik, but I have been seen by PAs in both locations…read more First off, my last visit there was a little confusion between the ZocDoc site and the doctors office. They called me to tell me the appointment I had made actually shouldn't have been allowed because they don't do general check ups that late. It wasn't a big deal to me, but the lady who called me was able to schedule me another appointment earlier in the day that wasn't available online. Not only that, when I asked which exit to take from work she moved the location from Germantown to Gaithersburg because she said I wouldn't need to drive as far and traffic would be easier! It was so thoughtful she did that for me. My wait was only about 10 minutes when I got there. Maybe a few minutes less, I didn't time it. The front desk lady chatted and time flew anyways. When they came to get me, everything was explained to me very well, and I wasn't touched without being told exactly what they were going to do (example: we're going to take your temp from your ear). It's little but sometimes you go to a doctor and everyone just manhandles you. The provider I saw, Renee, was amazing. She sat and listened to me and took notes on even little things I said. She explained the lab testing she wanted to do, and never made me feel awkward. I could feel she cares a lot for her job and patients. How they were going to use my insurance was also explained very well, and before my visit they called me to make sure everything was in order before I came in. And if you don't believe me, Washingtonian magazine also loves Dr. Malik, ranking him as one of the top doctors in the area.

To be fair, I would not give this office zero stars, as that would be an insult to zero stars…read more Now, I would not recommend this office. Who would? They have recently started requiring patients to come in every three months to renew routine medications such as blood pressure and cholesterol medications. These are common, non-controlled medications. If the purpose is medical follow-up, then actually follow the patient. Instead, you are required to make an appointment, typically wait 20-25 minutes, have a nurse check basic vitals for couple minutes, and then see the doctor for less than five minutes. It feels like an illusion of follow-up care rather than an actual evaluation. No blood work was even ordered. I specifically had to ask about it. So what exactly is the purpose of requiring the follow-up if you are not checking how the patient is actually doing? Just look at the patient, say, "You look fine," and bill the insurance? Even worse, the doctor did not review my test results. After looking at my BP reading, he said, "Ah, I guess that is why you are on blood pressure medication, right?" That told me he did not even seem to know why I was there. Yet the office required this visit before renewing the prescription, and roughly $500 was billed to insurance. OK, my insurance covers fully, but still, I do not understand how this kind of practice is considered ethical. Then, we wonder why healthcare and insurance costs are so high. Well, now we know predatory practices like this. My impression is simple: this practice feels far more focused on generating billable visits than providing meaningful medical care. The doctors seem disconnected, the front office seems disengaged, and I have very little confidence that a developing serious condition would be recognized early with this kind of superficial follow-up and subpar care. My advice: run elsewhere like there is no tomorrow. If you decide, or are forced, to stay with this office, may God have mercy on your soul.

I asked the hospital doctor, "Who would you recommend for your own family? Your mom or sister?" And, he replied Dr. Jesse Sadikman. I went to see Dr. Sadikman and that was the start of a wonderful patient-doctor relationship. Dr. Sadikman is my GP or general physician. He is absolutely the kindest, most caring doctor, and such an excellent doctor. He won't give up in finding what is wrong with you, if you are sick. He listens to you and is very thorough in checking for what is making you ill. He will recommend a specialist, if you need one. The office just moved and they are in Bethesda now off of Rockledge Drive. His nurses Lilly and Taryn are the nicest medical professionals you could happen to meet. They are so receptive to your needs. Dr. Sadikman is a concierge practice. So, you pay a yearly fee. The nice thing about that is you can get in to see him, when you need to. I highly recommend Dr. Sadikman.

Case in point, I had a question about a vaccination prior to international travel. Yes, CDC lists this vaccine and advises to take it, but Dr. Sadikman went much further, asking me about specific conditions I am likely to encounter, time of the year I will travel etc. before making his recommendation. That was most thoughtful. Dr. Sadikman is so much more than other docs who just want to write you a prescriptions. I feel very fortunate to have found his practice. He is complemented by overall excellent staff, working seamlessly with dr. Sadikman, the whole team delivers top-shelf care. Highly recommended.

She has been an excellent resource for referrals to some very good specialists when necessary. Recently she was able to alleviate some anxiety by accessing the results from some tests which turned out to be just fine. However, without her intervention, I would have had to wait. I am very pleased with that level of caring and service. Her assistant, Abby is also pleasant, professional and caring. She is a real boon to the office as Abby is the first person with whom a person interacts when visiting the office. I have never had to wait more that just a couple of minutes for my schuduled appointment. In addition, Abby has drawn blood from my arm with no pain and no bruising. While I certainly know this is not a for sure in the future, so far she has done really well and I appreciate that too!! I completely recommend Dr. Anne and Abby.

From the first meeting I had with Dr. Possner, I knew things would be vastly different and that I had found someone that would have a profound impact on my health. My first appointment was the longest time I had ever spent with a doctor. My appointment was 2 hours and Dr. Possner had fully reviewed my medical records and engaged me in thoughtful conversation about my medical history. I left my initial appointment with a feeling of empowerment over my health that I had never really felt before. Little did I know that the impact of having Dr. Possner as my doctor would happen so quickly. I was on vacation and had an acute UTI. It was after business hours, but I was able to call the office and get the on call doctor that happen to be Dr. Possner. I walked him through my symptoms and he immediately called in a prescription for me. Because he had such knowledge of my history it was easy for us to communicate and talk through my symptoms. He checked on me via email through the client portal several times over the next couple of days to ensure I was ok. The fact that I was in a remote part of a different state and I was able to call and speak with the doctor saved me stress and the hassle of finding an urgent care to go to. He has made several recommendations to other specialists and doctors, all of whom have turned out to be amazing. His referral goes a long way with each specialist I have scheduled an appointment with. I can't recommend Dr. Possner enough; he's a great listener, thoughtful, caring, kind and you can tell he truly loves what he is doing. His follow through is simply amazing.
