I took this buck to Harwell's in late December of 2018 and requested a European Mount, total cost around $150, up front deposit was $80 if I remember correctly. About a month later I received a voicemail from him saying it was ready for pickup and at the time I was busy traveling every week for work and unable to make it over to his shop before closing time. I figured it would be put away and I would pay a storage fee when I picked it up, which would have been perfectly understandable in my eyes. Given my vigorous work schedule, I wasn't able to make it to his shop until February of this year (2019), approximately 1 year after dropping it off. I presented my Harwell's receipt which showed my deposit and remaining balance. To my surprise, they searched the shop and could not find it. He acted somewhat dumbfounded and eventually gave me the, "Well, I might have sold it, or it might have gotten lost. What took ya so long to come back?" It was at this point that I realized, I was going to leave that day without the mounted rack of my first ever buck... There was NO attempt to discount a future mount, apologize for selling or losing my mount, just a simple "Too bad so sad reaction from the OWNER." I still get angry thinking about the fact the I walked that day without a refund of my deposit and no deer mount, only the thought of my BEAUTIFUL rack hanging on the wall at another hunter's house... It should be very obvious who I am, so if in fact something is done to fix this situation I will edit this review, but until then, the truth will remain... Good luck this season everyone.

I came here Saturday before…read moreMother's Day, so I understand prices would be higher than normal...but their "wholesale" prices are higher than other markets around. 25 roses for $48, $11 for baby's breath, $15 for the vase. Dozen of roses at Target the same day is $20, $16 at Sam's, $17 at Tom Thumb etc. and the quality is better since you can see all thru clear packaging. The roses I got here had some that didn't look great underneath the packaging. Baby's breath is very low quality, lots of broken branches . The vase is very thin and low quality, it broke when I put the flower bunches in and walked out the shop, walked back in to tell them and they told me to wait for a bit, stood there for 15 mins while they kept checking people out and ignored me. Finally I had to come up and ask again about the vase, they said it was fine when the lady checked me out so they can't do anything about it. If that's their policy, wish they just told me upfront instead of making me stand there and wait for nothing. If you want vases, Tom Thumb has better selection and better quality for the same price range. If you need wholesale roses, check Sam's Club website out, they have good varieties of rose (about $1/rose) and can ship to your house. (and if the flowers don't look good, Sam's will replace or refund for you, much better service)
