I always pass by this donut shop on my way to work and one day I finally decided to stop by in the morning and grab a couple donuts, and I was pleasantly surprised. The shop honestly looks like a janky hole-in-the-wall type of place and I wasn't expecting much when I decided to get some donuts. But it was honestly one of the best donuts I've had. The texture is perfect and taste is very rich. Frosting isn't too overbearingly sweet, it goes perfect with a cup of black coffee. The owners are nice as well. I would give this place 5 stars but one of the employees there, a younger lady, she packed me the wrong donut once which I was annoyed but understood it to be a mistake. However, the next couple times I went back, she consistently kept grabbing the wrong donuts and I had to correct her which pestered me so I'm giving it 4 stars. The owners should teach her to listen to the customers carefully and grab the right donuts. Definitely should try this place if you are in the area. read more

The donuts here are huge, delicious, and worth every inexpensive dime. I had the ham & cheese croissant (a classic for me), as well as the strawberry jelly donut. You can tell that the owner here clearly cares about the quality of the pastries because of the freshness and generous portions. The young lady in the front was very nice and helpful, made sure I was covered on all bases (coffee, napkins, water). I stopped into Foster's Donuts to inform them I would need to buy 4 dozen donuts the next morning for a company event. They took their time and walked through with me what donuts I would like, very polite and friendly. I came back the next morning to help them walk through which donuts I wanted to box up, when get this, they had already packaged up all 4 boxes of my donuts, so I didn't have to go through the slow process of picking out the donuts. Plus they threw in a few extra. I was impressed with the fact that not only did they trust me and pre-package my order, but they had the good business sense to think ahead and pre-package them for me so I wouldn't have to wait. That is good business sense. And the donuts were delicious too. I will return to Foster's in Chatsworth the next time I have a company event. read more

I love this store. For the 15 years I've been on this planet I've only had donuts from this magical place and I wouldn't want it any other way. I grew up on the love and happiness they put into their doughnuts and every time I've had a doughnut from them my day gets better. I live in Chatsworth and travel to Downey frequently and I have tried many donut shops in between. None can compare to the donuts at this place. The couple who owns it are both very kind. I'm a huge Krispy Kreme fan and my favorite donut from there I can never find anywhere else until I was introduced to Foster's (which their version is just as good if not better in a way). They have extremely fair prices, open 24/7 (I go at varying hours and are always fresh no matter what time), have the nicest people working there, and all of their donuts from their cake, glazed, their croissants, everything is so so delicious. I called to ask if they had a specific type of donut before driving on a wild goose chase. It was a holiday so I want to be sure they weren't out. A male answered the phone with just a "hello". Naturally I thought I had dialed the wrong number because what normal business place answers their phone like that. Confused, I asked who I had just dialed, expecting the guy to say Fosters Donuts so I can ask him my question. Instead, in a VERY VERY rude tone full of attitude, the guy asks "who did YOU just dial" Needless to say, I was sure I dialed the wrong number. I apologized and told him I had the wrong number and hung up. I double check the number and it was correct. I came on Yelp to check on the phone number, same one. My boyfriend insisted on trying it himself. Again, a male answered the phone with just "hello" My boyfriend had to specially ask if this is Fosters Donuts and the guy said yes. Your phone number is publicly listed as Fosters Donuts, why would you be so aggressive and surprised that you are getting a call from a phone number you might not recognize?! Shady....Very poor business etiquette. My boyfriend had inquired about the donuts I was looking for and they did have it. I did NOT go. I gave my business to Dragon Donuts instead. Worse donut shop don't go there!!! I went with my son and the senior they have working there is extremely rude. We got a ten dollar bill from the daughter as our change. My son asked the senior for 2 five dollar bills. She put her hand up and said "WAIT" very rude another lady of a different race walked in and starts helping, the senior and daughter are all smiles.
