Brea offered to do our engagement photos for free so they could get to know us. Even though we did not want engagement photos we could not pass up the fact that they were free. It was a very pleasant experience with Jessica and the photos turned out really well. Fast forward to our wedding in June of 2014: Jessica was an absolute delight to have as my photographer. I made it very clear to her that I did not want staged photos where everyone is standing perfectly all the time, and I did not want to be bombarded with photos. She listened to what I wanted and the photos were very painless. She was snapping pictures when I didn't even know she was taking pictures, so she was very unobtrusive. Jessica is a very sweet person and I just can't say enough about her. She also listened to the wedding party when they had an idea for a photo. Jessica was also very flexible when I changed my mind about something at the last minute. It really was a wonderful and pleasant day with her. The photos that I just received back from the wedding are GORGEOUS!! Jessica captured some beautiful moments and the pictures are very much my style of photography. As someone who plans a lot of events, not having to give photography a second thought is completely priceless. Typically getting a hold of her 2-3 weeks before your event is enough time, but book ahead if you want to use her pop-up photo booth services, which I believe are new. All our pictures came back so fast like within a week they were ready to post and our final prints took longer but because he had so many choices on print style so we had some really extravagant custom pieces done. We had to plan our STL metro area wedding from California and David was there for every step; from the first video chat planning session to staying several hours at my mother's house 4 months later to help us finish the album. We could not have done a cross-country wedding without him! 2) Communication: David will make sure you love you're pictures! He is takes very detailed notes and gives you plenty of time to reflect on what you want. The more details you can give him the better, so he knows exactly what to shoot for. We definitely needed a photographer who would "direct" the more formal portraits and he was on top of everything! 3) Wedding planning: David was very organized from the engagement contract, to the list of shots we needed, and everything in between. He went above and beyond, scouting different areas around the reception location to make sure we had plenty of options on the big day. We did several run throughs on paper and in person. He really acted like wedding planner! 4) Day of: First, David came for the rehearsal dinner even though it was not required. On the big day, he had a second shooter and an assistant (which we discussed). Everything was streamlined and coordinated. The crew was very reverent when needed, but also managed to capture a lot of private moments. After the ceremony, the crew worked with us to get family portraits and wedding party portraits in 2 different locations before heading to the reception! 5) Personal touches: David truly understands how to keep the experience personal. They did end up getting back with me a day before my event to tell me that the truck was having mechanical issues.... Which is a lie and not only that it was a day before my event. The process is pretty straight forward pick your container for your candle, pick your scents to mix, then sit down and make your candle. The hardest part is figuring out which type of scents will blend well and the staff weren't very helpful in figuring that out which was kind of a bummer. It was fun mixing scents and figuring out how much of each item to add in. I absolutely recommend doing over the amount of fragrance they tell you to so your candle emits enough fragrance (I saw reviews saying the candle didn't really smell so we made sure to put extra in ours). I made mine as a gift for my aunt and she absolutely loved it, she wanted me to give her another but I have no idea how much I mixed! Although this is more expensive than I expected overall this is a fun experience and a good activity to do. Please note if you want to take it home same day you have to have enough time for it to cool & solidify before you can take it. If you come around closing time you may not be able to take it home. I recommend doing this then going to visit the shops, grab some food, or play some games while you wait for your candle to be ready!

Not only did Lisa take a TON of great pictures, she captured very flattering shots of the mom to be, and had an excellent eye for detail. Lisa arrived early and made suggestions on the decorations and layout that not only helped with photos, but with the overall party flow. Afterwards, Lisa turned the photos around very quickly. We were able to preview on Facebook within days and the site she provided to order prints was easy to use and share with guests. The prints were high quality and affordable!
