We interviewed several photographers and decided to hire Stephen because we felt most at ease talking to him. Some of the best advice we received while planning our wedding was "hire vendors you genuinely like." We genuinely liked having Stephen present on our special day; he was attentive, friendly, and somehow relaxed and present while capturing the seemingly endless flow of beautiful moments. We LOVE Stephen's emphasis on candid shots; he caught countless incredible moments on film where you can easily see the immensity, joy, and love of the day. Our posed photos also turned out really well, which I attribute to Stephen's efficiency (posing for too long = stiff photos!) and excitement for catching shots throughout the gardens (movement and new locations make for more fresh expressions!). E&B were extremely helpful in figuring out how we could still get all the time for photos we needed, even proactively looking around for an air-conditioned space we could use to take pictures before the ceremony itself. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them for wedding photos, they were able to take charge when needed for posed photos to make sure we got some excellent shots, but other than that we wouldn't even have known they were there!
