E&B did our wedding at the Piedmont Community Hall Labor Day weekend. Both of the photographers were extremely friendly, creative and super easy to work with. They were super helpful with figuring out how to naturally pose us. Their pricing is extremely affordable. They were able to capture some images I never thought of. I actually regret that I did not do our engagement session with them. We used another photographer who does not have as much experience. E&B did wedding photos for us for our ceremony and reception in Walnut Creek, and they did an excellent job. Not only did the photos come out great, but they were professional and efficient with posed photos. That ended up being really important to us because it was extremely hot out (103!), so it was great to get through the photos quickly and get everyone back into the shade! Due to some unforeseen complications with our venue, we had to change both the venue and the schedule slightly, relatively late into the planning process. E&B were extremely helpful in figuring out how we could still get all the time for photos we needed, even proactively looking around for an air-conditioned space we could use to take pictures before the ceremony itself. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them for wedding photos, they were able to take charge when needed for posed photos to make sure we got some excellent shots, but other than that we wouldn't even have known they were there! Chris was great to communicate with, and Christian and Ella did such a great job with the photography day-of! They were all a joy to work with and I would highly recommend e&b photography. read more

Our baby was growing faster by the day, it seemed, and we wanted to capture this stage in his life with outdoor pics of our chubby baby and his parents. An online search led us to e& b photography. They were very responsive when we sent in our inquiry. And what I really liked about their portfolio was that all of the subjects looked so natural and very much at-ease. I was excited to hire them. When we were scheduling the shoot, they were very open about having us say where we wanted to take the pics. But they also had suggestions. Ultimately we went with a place that Christian suggested, and it worked out great. There was rain forecasted for part of the day of our schedule shoot. It came down to having to decide to take the pics or not the morning of. We were so grateful that Christian was so flexible, checking in with us in the days leading up to the big day and the morning of, to see if were wanted to go for it or not. We ended up waiting until another weekend. On the day of the shoot, our baby's nap ran unexpectedly long, so we were a few minutes late. But Christian was very gracious about it. He was so professional and easygoing, and we really felt comfortable with him from the start. I loved that he got lots of different types of shots, with us standing, reclining on a blanket on the grass, sitting in various places, in various positions. We had brought our dog out with us, and he even got in on the photo shoot for a couple of photos. When we got our photos, they were so amazing that tears welled up in my eyes. Christian caught the essence of our baby and our love for him on camera. The photos were everything we'd hoped for and more! In fact we loved the photos so much that we hired Christian again, to take photos at our baby's baptism. We had family fly in from various countries, so it was extra special to have everyone in one place. I never realized it was possible to get over a dozen people at once (including a baby) all looking at the camera and looking good. But Christian did it. He also took great pics of the ceremony and added some lovely touches, like photos of the cake and the baby's heirloom robe. We loved everything about working with e&b photography. I hired Chris and Christian to photograph the back yard bridal shower that I threw my sister last month...and I am so happy I did! Not only did the resulting pictures beautifully and accurately capture the joy and whimsy of the day, but having Chris and Christian as a part of our festivities turned out to be a fun and positive experience for our guests and really helped put me (the frantic hostess) at ease. My husband and I hired E&B photography to do our engagement session and wedding in 2010. We first got to know Chris and Christian at our engagement session in Berkeley. E & B Photography provided friendly service to my entire Senior and Junior Class, while many photographers who do Senior Proms impose time limits and pose restrictions on the students, E & B Photography did no such thing. Book these guys NOW, before their prices go up to match the quality of their work! After scouring useless wedding websites and countless forums, we amazingly found these guys on Craigslist. From the first email, it was clear they were responsible, professional, and courteous, and it was icing on the cake to learn at our initial meeting how friendly, calm, and down-to-earth they were. Even my photo-shy now-husband felt immediately comfortable with them, which is no small feat. And of course, their beautiful photos speak for themselves! I even sent the websites of 3 companies we were considering to a photog friend back east to get her opinion -- e&b's photos garnered raving accolades (the other poor folks didn't fare so well...). Chris and Christian shot amazing engagement photos with us around SF and had no problem working with our beloved dog to get some fantastic shots of our whole "family". They really look like something out of a magazine. They also did a fabulous job with our wedding, from posed portraits to dancing candids and all the little details in between. They even set up a "photo booth" area after dinner -- a detail I'd all but forgotten in the months between our initial meeting and the main event -- for no extra charge. Edited proofs were online in less than 6 weeks, and a DVD with all original images chronicling the whole day was in the mail not long afterward. If I had one small complaint, it would be that they didn't offer a ton of creativity/spunk in the poses or group shots they suggested, but I'm sure if you speak up and ask for something specific, they'd be happy to accommodate. In short, e&b offers an amazing product and responsive, friendly service for unbeatable prices. Far inferior photographers charge twice what these guys do! I heard about these guys through a friend (I saw pictures of her family on facebook and loved them) and used them to take pictures of my 2 month old baby for our holiday card. I was worried that the little guy would be a uneasy with these new faces and cameras clicking, but they made him feel very comfortable. They are great with kids and our baby didn't cry at all. They picked natural settings in our home with good lighting and the pictures turned out great. We loved the combination of black/whites, color and the angles. i was at byington vineyard working on flowers with a friend and met chris & christian. they were both very professional and were very down to earth. they would do anything needed to get that perfect shot. after the ceremony, one of them even climbed onto a electrical unit (about 7-8 ft high) to take a whole group shot. luckily the group was around 50 guests but still to get everyone in the shot and their effort was well applauded for. after speaking with chris & christian, i was able to hear from their tone they are completely intoxicated with passion towards photography. i have not seen their pictures yet (the wedding was only yesterday) but from their angles i can only imagine the best. keep up the great work guys!!! i hope to work with you again. :D read more

E&B = Exceptional & Brilliant! Chris and Christian photographed our July wedding in Sebastopol, CA, and did an outstanding job. Scheduling was smooth, and Chris & Christian were totally affable in person, putting us at ease from the get-go. I was pleasantly surprised to see the sulking child during the photo shoot appear smiling and happy in several shots- when did that happen? Chris and Christian photographed our wedding last month. We just received the final product and the photos are gorgeous. One of the things that drew us to them initially was their photojournalistic sensibilities -- we wanted to keep corny, moody shots to a minimum -- and, indeed, they caught truly special candid moments. Even in the posed photos (e.g. couples portraits, family group shots), everyone looks relaxed and natural, which I chalk up in large part to the really chill vibes the two of them exude during what could otherwise be a very hectic and busy day. From start to finish, working with Chris and Christian was a breeze and a pleasure. They are total pros at running their business -- really organized, clear on the details, responsive to our ideas and preferences. They had done a lot of outdoor weddings but had never shot at our venue. Upon arrival on our wedding day, they quickly got to work getting to know the space and figuring out how to work best with the natural light. We got some really beautiful shots in corners of the property we never would have thought to exploit. They also work quickly, and we really appreciated not being kept from the party for too long!
