One of the tastiest ramens I've had in Amsterdam, but just got too salty with each bite. It started out great with the spicy oil with tofu, we polished off that refreshing appetizer with astonishing speed. The noodles were big generous bowls topped, the classic coming topped with 4 pieces of char Shu, half an egg, and good amount of vegetables. The broth in the tokotsu ramen and the Dan Dan men were both very rich and flavorful. You literally are eating the soup. I usually love the soup, but as I slurped my way through the soup just tasted saltier and saltier to the point I couldn't take anymore. That was bit sad at the end, if they can lower the salt in the broth, this would become a go to place on my list for sure.

Awesome ramen place on a busy Main Street. They have two separate entrances which at first I though was two different places but they are connected inside. They have all types of seating including regular table tops, high tops, counter seating and an outdoor patio area in the back. We came in close to closing but they we were more than happy to have us. Seated right away and drink orders taken. Basic ramen menu with a few different choices of broth. I went with the tonkatsu and it was delicious. They also had size options which I thought was great. They also had plenty of appetizers to choose from as well. Food came out very quickly and again it was very good. Our server was great and she anticipated the check before we could ask for it. Two of us and we both had appetizers and it was under 50 euro. Great find in an area with plenty to pick from.

This is the sister Ramen shop from the Fou Fow Ramen on Elandsgracht and producing the same ass Ramen as in the west side. The restaurant is a lot bigger than the one on Elandsgracht so you don't have to wait for seats which is a big plus for me. The location is fantastic next to the end of Albert Cupt market. Tonkatsu is my favorite Ramen and their Gyoza, kimchi is quite nice also. Unfortunately they don't serve lunch during weekday yet but they do open for lunch during Friday - Sunday.

Best ramen you'll find in amsterdam! I'm a regular here, but also frequently test the competition. Fou Fow is the hands down winner in Amsterdam. Starters are always delicious and a great warmup prior to the main show: RAMEN! I usually get the basic, as I tend to fill up on the great appetizers. Simple and delicious.

Good vegan ramen option, Hitachino Nest beers and Wu-Tang playing non-stop..what else do you need? Seriously though...Wu-Tang hits playlist + Japanese Craft Beer + Ramen is the absolute perfect pairing.

Best ramen I've ever tasted. And the gyoza was so fresh and delicious, we had to order a second plate. Delicious!

Very eclectic place. Great food, not the greatest service or comfortable dining experience. 4/5 for…read morethe food; 3/5 overall. We arrived around 6:30pm for dinner. Staff don't bother to find tables for you; they let customers figure things out among themselves. Alright. We eventually grabbed a table after 5-10 minutes, then had our order taken 10 minutes later. The food took a long time to come out: about 40 minutes (other than 1 appy that came out after 20). Good thing it was tasty. We got: -plantain fries (€6) -- tasty, especially with the sweet dipping sauce, but you get about 8 fries, so not great value. -okonomiyaki (€12.90) -- this was wonderful. So many lovely textures, flavours, and seasoned beautifully. This was the highlight of the meal for me. -vegan plate (€18.90) -- really nicely designed plate, with a base of brown rice, with a sort of Japanese slaw, vegan chicken katsu, tempura (apparently, though I didn't notice it), and stir fried veggies. Super tasty stuff. Not the biggest portion, but not bad either. My friends each got the crispy roti wrap (€14.90), which they loved, and the taste I had was great. Overall, great food, not the best dining experience. Perhaps my experience wasn't representative. I'd go back for the okonomiyaki alone.
