I came to Dr. Berner just over 4 months ago out of sheer desperation, after years of ongoing bouts of unexplained dizziness which had worsened in the fall of 2025 to include neck pain, jaw pain, ear pain, visual disturbances, vertigo and nausea. I'd gone through all types of testing through my ENT and neurologist, vestibular therapy to improve my balance, antiviral medication that affected my kidneys, and increased anxiety because I never knew when the dizziness was going to hit me. Driving became an issue because I couldn't turn my head quickly. Sleep became an issue because I couldn't lie on my right side without dizziness. An AI search of my combined symptoms recommended an Upper Cervical Chiropractic evaluation, and I was lucky enough to find Dr. Berner and the wonderful staff at Foundation Chiropractic! I noticed major improvement within 4 sessions for an Atlas obstruction (cervical misalignment at the base of my skull), but was almost afraid to believe it. Now, at the end of my 4 month treatment plan, I honestly feel like I have my life back! The dizziness is now minor and infrequent, ear pain, jaw pain and neck pain completely gone. Hip pain that I assumed was arthritis, gone. Blood pressure lower. Range of motion much improved. The staff is wonderful, the vibe is cheerful and I never have to wait - in and out! I became a patient here 2 months ago. I was having massive daily anxiety that came out of nowhere, and was impacting my daily life. I also had significant neck pain that was getting worse. Testing showed I had a misalignment of the Atlas bone in my upper neck. After the first adjustment, my anxiety was much less and my health has continued to improve. I see Dr Andrea. I have been coming here for a few months and am so glad I found this place. I was looking for a solution to fix my odd dizziness symptoms, neck stiffness out of no where and found that the technique used here by Dr. Brett Burner was exactly what I was looking for. I will say, I did not expect the high price attached with the treatment, but I took a leap of faith and went for it. So far I'm in the second to last phase of my treatment and I have to say I'm now noticing major improvement. My neck stiffness has improved, the pressure in my head I was dealing with went away completely and I'm not longer feeling dizziness the way I had been prior to this treatment. The staff here is super nice and helpful. I love their service dog, he's so cute and sweet, greets you when you walk in (most of the time). I researched and found Dr Brett Berner because I needed something different. I have been going to chiropractors for over 40 years. Recently, two neurologists, both highly recommended not to let chiropractors do aggressive moves with my neck. I happen to see a video about specialty chiropractors -upper cervical chiropractic and I was curious about this technique.After a quick local search I was able to find Dr Brett Berner and was willing to give his style of treatment a try. He performed a complete evaluation on me and had a plan to work gently on strengthening my neck and back. His specialized technique of only working on your cervical spine area with really no real pressure on your neck - no need to crunch you anywhere. It is amazing. You wonder if this is even gonna work but week by week I kept having less and less pain. I love the fact I feel better and am not putting myself at risk. He has been very easy to work with, I can tell he cares about his patients, he individualized my treatment to my specific needs. He listens to my concerns. It has been impressive to see new technologies that have been acquired. He has new tools to help with the journey of healing and strengthening my body. It is a joint effort(pun intended) that he will guide you to do as much as you can do so that the treatment will be much more effective. He gives advice as to equipment/tools you can take home and use to keep your bones in a good alignment and strengthen with exercises that only take a few minutes. When you can, the more you can do-the better it helps your results. Dr Berner continually evaluated my progress and can show me with different tests results where I have improved and where more work may be needed. Appointment times are pretty much spot on time every time I've gone. The staff is so very kind and professional, as well. I can't say enough good things about my personal experience. I have recommended him to family and they too have found relief. Give him a try and you won't be disappointed, I have to say that the time I spend there is so nice, friendly and relaxing I look forward to giving Swanson, the office mascot and doggy boss a little rub to add a little extra to my visit there. read more
