We provided all of our documents and allowed her to pull our credit. Not even 24 hours later we got a call saying that we could not qualify for ANY type of mortgage as we had a late payment 2 years ago. She quickly gave us the brush off and we were devastated. However, a quick 10 minute internet search proved she was wrong and very misinformed. Thankfully, we went with another mortgage broker and qualified for not only a FHA loan but also a Conventional Mortgage from many other banks as well as credit unions with little to no effort, aside from the normal documents that are always requested. We closed on our new home last week with an exceptionally low interest rate and excellent loan terms. If you are a 1 st time homebuyer or think you may have any issues, no matter how minor, with getting approval, I would highly recommend using someone else! Very disappointed with Key Stone and we would never, under any circumstances, recommend them to anyone else.

First, one ORNL employee spoke with me by phone, combined the two "Group A" accounts and quickly cut a cashier's check for me to save all of that money. Then she was able to close those accounts. The other employee removed the money still in the "Group B" accounts and closed those accounts. With the four accounts closed and all money saved, we could calmly walk through setting up whatever new accounts I chose. Their performance in my view and with my background was excellent. (My only real issue after 20+ years with ORNL has been with the online banking I'm constantly using. Sometimes the technical updating can be frustrating).
