This school has been very disappointing in terms of communication and professionalism. At times, the environment has felt disorganized, unsafe, it has felt difficult to receive timely responses and consistent guidance when addressing student-related issues. We have had concerns regarding the level of communication and support provided by school administration. In particular, interactions with the assistant principal have felt unhelpful and dismissive at times when students and parents were seeking guidance. The worst school I have ever seen. The laziness or bullying from admin and staff (especially the obese ladies) is off the charts. The building is falling to pieces and it's a health hazard from FREEZING classrooms, roaches, mold, and broken plumbing that makes a wing of the building smell like a corpse. The lack of organization means kids don't have math books and learn new information or crucial things the DAY BEFORE the state tests. Kids are passed through for years with no academic or behavioral support. Horrible. read more

Great school for kids that can adapt to a more traditional classic education. Most of the teachers are very involved and dedicated. Only con for us so far is the very expensive uniforms but they are good quality. read more

This is a solid school. They seem to be taking feedback and weeding out some of the problematic faculty and getting back to the core classical curriculum and better instructors. They seem to be financially challenged, which I think has to do with location based funding... They could be much better if they hold staff accountable, remind teachers to be adults and professional, and leave opinions about politics and religion out of the classroom. Bottom line, this is a better choice than most public schools in the vicinity, probably not the best choice for a classical charter. If location is not a factor for a classical charter, go elsewhere . read more

This school allows a tenure faculty member to BULLY the students! Ms. Da Silva has been tormenting these students since the beginning of the year! And the school admin let her get away with it! She doesn't allow the students to go to the restroom during class, this is RIDICULOUS these children especially females are going through changes in 6th grade! They should be allowed to use the restroom. She does not allow students to raise their hand in class for help or questions on what they are learning. How are the students supposed to learn then?! Students that speak fluent Spanish are NOT allowed to speak Spanish in her classes as she has told students they do not speak Spanish correctly. All this information I got by going on a 6th grade field trip and a group of students were talking about their experience in Ms. Da Silvas class, these students are all in different 6 grade classes as well. My daughter is a student that does not make trouble. Ms. Da Silva asked the students to turn in their work from the previous day, my daughter went to check if she had already turned in her paper, Ms. Da Silva asked her to sit down, as she was headed to her desk Ms. Da Silva yelled at her to stop talking, mind you my daughter was not talking, she then slammed on her desk yelling at my daughter. Another student tried to tell Ms. Da Silva that my daughter was not speaking, the teacher then yelled at the student trying to stick up for my daughter. Ms. Da Silva told my daughter to got back to her desk a second time and as she is walking to her desk quietly Ms. Da Silva yelled at her to stop talking and that is no way to talk to a teacher but my daughter never said anything to her. When I went to school the next day Ms. Chrissy jotted my name and number down and told me Ms. Brown would give me a call. 48 hours later, the same teacher was doing the same thing to my daughter again. I went to the office after school and Ms. Chrissy told me that Ms. Brown stated she has 72 hours to respond to a parent. THAT IS RIDICULOUS when a faculty member is bullying the students! I would expect a quicker response especially when you say your school does not tolerate Bully/harassment. It sounds like you do for your tenure teachers. I wouldn't trust this school whatsoever! And from the looks of the reviews it seems they can't control things in their classrooms! RUN and enroll your child elsewhere! And if you have a student in 6th grade at this school ask them about their grammar teacher Ms. Da Silva! I promise you your child will tell you nothing but negative experiences with her! read more

If they had a 0 star in this app i would 100% put a 0 star. But this is a horrible school. Horrible teachers (some), and the admin dont even do anything they just get mad at kids who literally do nothing! Especially this one teacher, Ms. da Silva. When my son had her last year, he told me so many horrible things about her. There was this one time when he said that his friend asked a question about paper, she started yelling at him for no reason. Also, she doesnt even allow questions or doesnt even help students, how do you learn? I gurantee that if you ask your children about Ms. da Silva and other teachers, they will say that she is a bad teacher and she gets mad for literally no reason. I do not recommend this school at all. They also said that no bullying is allowed. If students get expelled flr bullying, why dont teachers get fired for bullying?? read more
