After quickly adjusting to his new routine, my son has since remained enthusiastic to go to school. Ms Puja, the experienced director, and Ms Erica were so patient and understanding with my multiple calls, emails and texts checking in on my son in his first couple of weeks. We knew our son was in great hands from the start. My son enjoys all of the engaging activities his teachers provide each day. His language has expanded in just weeks and he's singing songs at home. I have experience as an early childhood educator and I am in awe of all of the experiences and opportunities to learn that they are providing to my 1.5 year old each day. I know that he will continue to grow and learn here for years to come and he will, most definitely, benefit from his time here at HMA. When I pick my son up each day you can see the love he has for all of his amazing teachers and the staff at HMA and I can see that they know and care for my child and all of the children in their care. He blows kisses and grins to each teacher when we leave and it melts my heart. If you are anywhere near this location and looking for a home away from home for your child, as well as a place that will foster their growth and development with love and patience, I'd highly recommend that you tour HMA. When I visited HMA I knew it was a special place and I am grateful to send my son there each day because of the amazing staff.

Absolute worst experience--Zero safety and zero accountability!…read more I am writing this to warn everyone about the complete lack of professionalism and safety at this facility. Management is claiming I was a "no call, no show," which is a blatant lie. I was physically present at the facility. I explicitly requested the security camera footage to prove that a teacher hit a child and tried to grab me but they have repeatedly refused to provide it to me. I finally told the staff member to call me only when they actually have the footage ready. Worse than the administrative dishonesty is how they handle safety. I brought up a severe incident where I was almost assaulted inside the classroom. Instead of taking this safety breach seriously, the staff member in management literally smirked in my face and acted like it never happened. This place allows teachers to hit and roughen up students without any consequences. Do not trust them with your safety or your children. They do not care about security, they hide evidence, and they laugh at violence. Avoid this place at all costs!

We took them out until we could figure out what was going on. When we were ready to have them go back our spots had been filled. I did a search of the area and stumbled upon Happy Tree. Ms. Danielle was extremely responsive and we had a brief phone call before we toured the school. During the phone call with Ms. Danielle it just felt right. When we toured, I knew it was right. When they were enrolled, they had just turned two and within weeks I could see a huge difference in their growth and development. They are now 4.5 and came home one day and recited all the presidents! They are writing and spelling their names, adding and subtracting and much, much more. It's extremely bittersweet that they are moving on and we will very much miss Happy Tree and all they've done to prepare them for their future education.

He became so comfortable with the teachers in his class that he would specifically look for them when he walked in the building. They are so loving and caring. I had some apprehension because my son has a hearing aide that needs to be removed for naps and water activities. It is also extremely difficult to get him to keep it in and for other students not to yank at it. They took the time to learn how to place and remove the device and also helped him keep up with it. As he moved up in classes, he became just as fond of the new teachers as the old and they encouraged some independent learning. They also got him to eat vegetables almost everyday which is impossible at home. We wouldn't have believed it if we didn't see it with our own eyes. Another great thing about the facility is you can pop in on your child any day or any time. They have an open door policy for parents and it makes you feel at ease when they are willing to be so open. We moved and had to change child care. It was a difficult decision to make because our son enjoyed his classmates and teachers so much.

She is now 5, and in the Pre-K/Kindergarten program, and just loves all her teachers there. Miss Chere is clearly one of her favorites. And even though she is not in Miss Chere's class anymore, she always wants to make sure I take her to Miss Chere's classroom so she can say hi to her and give her a hug. But all the teachers continue to be great. And Miss Bloomingdale's as an institution is really an excellent value. For the combination of care, education and tuition rates...they are well worth it. And it's evident that they do the best they can to keep their tuition rates as reasonable as possible while still being able to provide a quality education and stay in business in this highly competitive environment. This is a locally-owned, family-run business that I'm proud to support, and I genuinely feel they have been overall a better fit for our family than other daycares/schools in the area that are most likely cookie cutter franchises -- and more expensive.

Miss Bloomingdale's molds your child into a well-rounded individual. The focus on learning and development - 5 stars; athletics (swim, soccer and dance classes are offered ONSITE) - 5 stars. Learning good manners and respect - 5 stars!!! The teachers and staff - 5 stars. Had we not moved, my son would without a shadow of a doubt would still be there. Brentfield is the only school where someone knew more about autism than I do. Principal Steve Lemons is a diplomat. He supports his teachers tremendously but he also acknowledges their flaws. He knows the name of every child, he greets them, he is no stranger to the cafeteria. He was born to be an elementary school principal. Absolutely.

Both of our children love their time at Alden and have developed a strong love for learning. Their growth has been amazing to witness. The teachers demonstrate care and expertise on a daily basis. Their staff is responsive, supportive, and transparent. The questions, issues, and feedback we have had over the years have been met with openness and a sense of partnership. Our children are precious and the most important things in our life. The teachers and administrators at Alden understand this and embrace their responsibilities in a way that instills confidence and comfort.
