This last bout of back pain had lingered for months, whereas the pain prior would come and go, though one time so severe, I was hospitalized, unable to walk for 4 days. The first several appointments addressed the SI joint, and the following appointments addressed what is likely piriformis syndrome - basically a small butt muscle that irritates the sciatic nerve. It's incredibly painful and near unbearable at times. Dr. Boykin is an angel in doctor form. He listens, he explains, he tosses around ideas until he knows exactly how to treat me. Most recently, I've been experiencing migraines, so severe, I've missed work and become physically sick. He's attributing it to hormone fluctuations based on other symptoms, and my age, and recommended bloodwork from my doctor. He hasn't been wrong about me before. If you're experiencing any kind of pain - muscular, skeletal, nerve, joint, I cannot recommend Dr. Boykin enough!
