Scott MacCabe was the person answering the call. He was very helpful and polite. He explained in details what he will do and he came to meet me right in my hotel; in less than 30 minutes he showed up (I was really surprised!!!!!!). We went to the parking garage and after assessing the damage he explained step by step again how he will proceed in order to fix the problem. In about an hour later, he had completed the work. Scott was very professional and friendly. I really appreciate his help; we dont want this type of experiences away from home while on vacation but having someone ready to help in an outstanding manner definitely makes it less stressful. Previously my only experience with getting summer tires switched off for snows was with Kal Tire & it usually took anywhere from 2 & a half to 3 hrs waiting You can imagine my surprise when Tires on the Run advised they were all done in less than 45 minutes!

They don't fix tires but recommended Ben's. We added air (it was even free!!!) and arrived at Ben's at 11:45 AM. The girl at the desk said it would take around 45 minutes but the techs would be going on lunch break in 15. I must have looked crestfallen because she said, "I'll get it done." One of the techs graciously postponed her lunch to repair the tire (1/2" screw embedded) and we were on our way in 30 minutes. The cost was $30. At a buck-a-minute, it was worth every penny. Everyone was very acomodating and helpful. I'll be a return visitor if I ever need tire repair in the Canmore area again.

Yes you read me correct ,a towing company that can and will work with you to get your vehicle back , and not against you so that they can profit off of your misfortune,like far to many other towing companies out there. The guy that came to get my SUV was nice and I could tell he did truly feel bad for my situation, but had a job to do all the same .We joked about My Ford Escape having to be boosted every time I wanted to start the thing ! It was a welcome attitude and smile after what I had just deal with ! Knowing it would be atleast a week until I got paid and could even consider getting my SUV out of towing jail . So when I did call the office to see how much I would have to pay to get my only running vehicle out of impound , there were tears rolling down my face . I have had this situation before and no fault of mine but it still cost me in the end and I lost a good car because of it ! But Darcy and the driver ( sorry forgot his name) worked with me so I was able to affordability get my SUV back ! This would not have been the case with at least one other local towing company out of Didsbury !! Yes I understand this is a business and they are not running charity,and I do know (was married to the fleet mechanic of one of the largest towing company in BC back in the day) first hand that the job these guys do is most times a dirty one ! Tell me honestly more often than not, your not happy to have to call a tow truck as it always means something has gone wrong and that means $$$ Or the other end where the police are involved and they have it impounded from anywhere 24 hrs to 30days ! The drivers put their lives on the line almost daily with most calls,and never know what will be at the other end of the call out when they get to them ! Anyway you look at it, A) It's a dirty job someone has to do B) Try being respect before you start swearing , sometimes it makes things go much smoother for yourself and the company . When I went to OK Tire here in Okotoks I found the crew there knowledgable, pleasant and accommodating both with tires and mechanical problems. Shayne and his crew are always professional and safety conscious. Shayne also does his best to ensure affordability which is also important to those of us that are retired and on a pension. When we took them to another professional tire shop for installation, substantial bead damage was identified and the tires were refused as unsafe to mount. This is a serious safety issue. These tires were intended for a horse trailer, where a blowout on the highway puts both people and animals at risk. Tires in this condition should never be sold. The business denied responsibility and failed to resolve the sale of unsafe tires, demonstrating a clear lack of regard for safety. This review will reflect how the company ultimately chooses to handle this matter.

They were recommended to me by W&B Automotive, when I bought my very first car and I needed Winter Tires. Don was extremely accommodating. Every time I have a flat and need a tire repair, they've always gotten me in right away and gotten it fixed immediately. Sometimes at no-charge even! My most recent experience was today. On Saturday I got a flat tire in Madden, AB and had to get AMA to come change my tire. I tried to get into Canadian Tire to have them fix it, and they told me the hole was "Too big for the plug" and that I needed to buy a new tire. And they were going to charge me a fortune for it because I have 17" low-profile tires. I took it in to Don this morning and he had a look at it and was able to fix it. I ALWAYS recommend OK tire to my friends and colleagues when they ask me where a good place to buy tires is. Even if they live in Calgary, the quality of service is well worth it.
