When my husband showed up for the appoitment he was informed it was never booked. When I contacted Mike he stated that he told me drop the truck off in the morning (he said 3pm when we first made the appoitment) And stated that he never promised to have the time to do the inspection (he did and even offered to make things work if it turned out that time would not work) And then also stated that I requested the 3pm shop time and it was my fault for not booking things ahead of time (I asked for the latest appointment they had in the day if it was possible and called days in advance) I then went into the shop and provided mike with the phone recording of our original conversation. No apology was offered or even a kind word I was just asked where my truck was and rudely informed to bring it in and the inspection would be done and then he quickly walked away. I went home grabbed my family and my truck and went back to the shop. Again the man behind the desk was so rude and insulting. After waiting another 15min I spoke again with Mike and informed him that I would not pay for my truck to be re inspected but would pay for the tires to be put on. He laughed at me and stated that I was being a very un reasonable customer. I reminded him of the insulting way I had been treated and the inconvenience me and my family were put through (at this time it was 445pm my husband went to the shop for my appoitment at 3pm). He stated he was accommodating me by "fitting me in" And that I should be greatful. I informed him this was not a way to conduct business and the man behind the desk stated that it didn't matter my opinion because they had a 5 star rating on facebook. I post this because I think people should be aware of how poorly they treat there customers when they have made a mistake. when I originally booked the appoitment I had no problem paying to have it re inspected (7days past the 30 day mark of my last inspection with them) but personally after being treated so bad and because of there mistake they should have offered to re inspect the truck for free and i was still more then willing to pay for the tires..

They are amazing folks! So kind, so efficient, so helpful. It was like being rescued by a knight on a silver charger. I was so glad the tow truck driver (and a shout out to our guy from Hookers Towing!) had the NAPA Autopro connection, and delivered us into their hands. Buyer Beware: Our very stressful Experience with a Previously Scrapped RV purchase…read more Summary: In September 2023, we unknowingly purchased a consigned Fifthwheel from Sylvan Lake RV that had previously been written off as "scrapped for parts" due to rodent infestation. This designation was confirmed by Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) and Alberta Transportation in 2025--rendering the RV uninsurable, unregistrable, and essentially worthless. Purchase & Discovery (Sept 2023) We agreed to purchase a consigned 2014 Alpine 3555RL Luxury Fifthwheel. At final signing, a Carfax report revealed the unit had been labelled "scrapped for parts/rodent infestation" in Saskatchewan (Aug 2020). The salesman assured us it was a clerical error when we questioned it stating they contacted motor vehicles to verify. Then provided a Vehicle History Checklist stating the trailer had never been deemed salvage or scrapped. At the time, it was actively registered in Alberta. We signed in good faith. Repair Issues & Registration Fallout (2024-2025) Throughout 2024, warranty repairs were repeatedly unaddressed. In April 2025, while investigating AC issues, we discovered rodent damage to the AC ducting in the ceiling. We contacted SGI and Alberta Transportation and learned the RV had officially been written off in 2020, and should not have been eligible for registration or insurance. Alberta reversed its registration status to "scrapped." We had paid over $700/month--including insurance--for 18 months on an asset that could not be legally registered, insured, towed, or sold. Dealer Response & Replacement Process (Apr-Aug 2025) On April 2025, we approached Doug Thompson (owner) requesting a replacement of equal or greater value, size, features & quality. He agreed, but over the next three months, only two options were presented--one required additional financing, the other was in poor condition. We had no functioning AC for all of 2024 until Aug 2025, two months without kitchen sinks, and an awning that never worked properly. Ultimately, due to consumer protection deadlines, we requested for trade a 2021 Keystone Cougar 315RLS ( a consigned unit on his lot) to resolve the dispute and avoid legal costs. This unit is smaller (35' vs. 40') and lacks the luxury features of our original Alpine. We chose to take a downgrade in features, size & quality. It was not our preferred outcome, but the only viable path forward outside of a lengthy & costly legal process. We sent the dealer possible options from private sellers as he had stated he didn't want to buy from another dealer. Those options were ignored also. We felt he was waiting for the perfect consignment to come in...We believe to save his losses while we waited for a unicorn which could cause us to miss our consumer protection deadline. The replacement trailer was delivered August 1, 2025--dirty inside and out. Communication from Doug stopped. He didn't even bother to see how the replacement was going. --- Final Recommendation We strongly advise buyers to thoroughly verify title history and registration status--including out-of-province records from SGI or any other jurisdiction before purchasing any consignment unit from this dealership. Our experience shows that a unit previously written off as scrap can slip through the cracks and leave buyers with serious financial and legal consequences.

Blew the motor in my car on the highway near Red Deer. Did a quick Google search for a tow company…read moreand they were the first to actually answer after I called a few others. They were there very quick to pick up the car and tow it to a friend's place. They needed a flat-deck as my car is AWD. The driver, Curtis, was great. He was very friendly and helped me get back home to Edmonton. He knew where the Red Arrow picked up and since it was close to being on his way back to the shop, he offered to drive me there, so I didn't have to catch a cab from my friend's place. It was a very good experience on an otherwise shitty day!

Got in my truck at the end of a long day of work, and it wouldn't turn over…read more I Googled Red Deer towing and found Trio. They had 2 great reviews so I gave them a call. They had a truck out to me in 18 minutes. The driver was super friendly and did everything he could to start my truck before he put it up on the winch. When he asked where I wanted it towed I told him I was open to suggestions. I'm new to Red Deer and don't have a mechanic here. He called some shops for me to find which would look at my car soonest and found one who he said he would take his own vehicle to. He was so friendly, kind, and professional. He made sure I was warm in his truck and waited with me until my ride came. My tow came to a super reasonable $84!

I was weary about bringing my minivan here for detailing as I read a couple of not so positive…read morereviews about this business. I took the chance anyway because Nick was so friendly, professional and accomodating over the phone. I booked my time, dropped my van off (he even offered me a ride to work), and picked it up shortly after the estimated time at NO EXTRA charge (the kids did a number on the back seat ;)). When I went to pick it up I learned that Nick detailed it himself and had gotten into every crevice of my van, and I was overly pleased getting my "brand new" van back! I could not express how amazing Nick did detailing the interior of my very kid broken into minivan (3 young kids eating on the go to be precise). I will be referring this service to all my friends and family! Five stars for friendliness, professionalism, promptness and pleasing results. Thanks again for the great service.
