No sad, picked-over trays here--just solid comfort food done right across the board. The Dutch mini pancakes were a standout, and having that many options made it way too easy to go back for "just one more plate" a few times. Portions (if you can call it that at a buffet) were more than generous--I didn't need to eat for two days after. Great food, well organized, and exactly what you hope for when you walk into a breakfast buffet. Showed up hungry, left questioning my life choices--in the best way. Dam great food.

This area is a good place for a convenience store and gas station, considering that there is a…read morelarge amount of housing around and close access to highway 11, but not a place that would be utilized by out of towners. I've come here a fair amount to fill up with gas and generally speaking, I've never had much of a problem. The place is clean too. However, when I went in with a case of the munchies, I will definitely keep a hawk eye on transactions and I suggest other customers do as well. As of late, the till's total display does not work properly. Instead of the customer being able to see the total, weird characters are shown, so you have to rely on the receipt and what the cashier tells you the total is. Anyhow, I went in to purchase a bag of popcorn, a small bag of licorice and a scratch & win. The cashier tells me that the total is $20. I thought I misheard him until he took my $20 and closed the till. I asked him, "This is $20?" and he answered, "Yes". So I asked for the receipt. Uh no, the total was only $12.01. I ended up getting my change. Then the gentleman that had exited the store when I first entered then re-entered the store, scrutinizing his receipt. It was then I went from thinking it was an off night for the cashier to pondering whether it maybe wasn't a mistake. And if it is a mistake, so be it, but I will be watching transactions at this location with much more of a critical eye.

Small little gas bar in the Hamlet of New Norway (located in Camrose County)…read more Domo provides the gasoline here but they don't jump to the pump at this location. Pre-Pay is required here. Post Office, lotto, small grocery, and liquor all located here! It's your one stop shop that every little town needs. They even have ice and bundles of wood if you're camping at nearby Little Beaver Lake and need some supplies! Love the feel of these little hamlets and their mom & pop shops ala Corner Gas.
