Limited items, and super overpriced, and they'll charge you $0.60 for a plastic bag haha.

$1 beers is what's up! Guy at counter seemed very nice. Wanted my company and gave me a free hug.

I'll be having angels and demons talking to me when I come here whether it's necessary to buy more…read moreor less alc, lol. If you want Clase Azul they have it, Jinro Soju no sugar, that's in the imported lane, you like Lebron Hennessy, then you gotta press a button to grab a VSOP bottle. The point of this is that they got all the alc you can desire. Basically a candy shop for responsible adults, alright. There be times when I get that Caymus wine bottle too, but they recommend usually something else and cheaper, but I'm okay, thank you though boss. The other day I bought two tequila bottles for my friend's birthday coming up this weekend. If you have a membership, they always give away cool coupons that you can use. Some stuff like $5 or buy three alc and get one free. I like coming here than liquor stores. It's clean and the service here is super friendly. Never a bad time here. Sometimes I'll be here for like an hour from just browsing all the different flavors lol. Come through people!

I usually shop at the Total Wine in Brea, but I was in the Huntington Beach area and decided to…read morestop by this location. When I first walked in, I was looking for a specific bottle and asked an employee for help. She was standing on her phone, and when I asked where the bottle was, she simply replied, "It's in the back." Since I wasn't familiar with the layout of this store, I asked if she could tell me where in the back--left, right, straight ahead, etc. She just repeated, "I said it's in the back." As a first-time customer at this location, that wasn't very helpful and honestly made me feel dismissed. Thankfully, the rest of my experience was completely different. I found another employee near the refrigerator section, and he was amazing. He walked me directly to what I was looking for, helped me grab everything I needed, and even carried it up to the register for me. He was incredibly friendly, made me laugh, and genuinely turned my shopping experience around. The cashier was also super sweet, and the manager who was there took the time to ask how my day was going and chatted with me for a bit. Those interactions made the store feel much more welcoming. While my first interaction wasn't great, everyone else I encountered provided excellent customer service and really made up for it. I hope the employee I first spoke with can be reminded that a little kindness and direction go a long way, especially for customers who aren't familiar with the store.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Dizzying variety with friendly, knowledgeable staff…read more Whoa, I can't believe I've never reviewed this place! I'd been a few times but since it's not very conveniently located to me it had been a while since I'd been. The hubby and I were on our way down to San Diego so we stopped in to get a gift for a friend. We wanted to get him a special bourbon but couldn't decide out of the dozens of bottles. One of their helpful staff came by and asked if he could help. He asked about a price range and recommended the Old Fitzgerald, which we'd never even heard of and never tried, but decided to take a chance. We were very impressed with it when we tried it with our friends later on that evening--the most smooth bourbon I think I've ever had. The cashier even went out of her way to find the branded velvet gift bag for the bottle, which was a nice way to present our gift. We were also glad to see that they had a selection of gluten-free beers, as the hubby had developed a gluten sensitivity recently. Great selection with a friendly, professional staff--it doesn't get much better than this.

Last time my review was not good because of customer service…read more This time, I want to leave five stars. This review is for staff member Michael (I hope I got his name correctly from his name tag; he is from France ). My brother is visiting from another country and wanted to buy a few bottles for his wine club. We know Hi-Time has a great selection. He asked a staff member for a specific wine bottle and he said they didn't have it. They spent a few more minutes talking and the staff member left without any convincing recommendations for my brother. My brother kept looking and then Michael showed up. Not only he found the wine he was looking for initially, but he also made some other great recommendations. The whole interaction was polite, friendly, interesting, and enjoyable. My brother walked out of Hi-Time with a smile. Thank you, Michael!

It's now owned by two brothers that are practically here almost everyday - their hard work ethic is inspiring. I'm always greeted in a warm, genuinely friendly manner - and if it's been awhile since I've stopped by - the owner always asks about that. Huge selection of drinks - both non-alcoholic and alcoholic, wine, beer, other refreshments, as well as snacks. I've never had any issues with freshness from anything I've bought here. They have a lotto display here as well. Store is clean both inside and out - a lot of liquor stores tend to be messy outside, but it's nice to see they have pride in their upkeep of the premise. Parking is easy - it shares a small lot with a pizza place, salon, and tattoo artist.

No greeting, no explanation, just attitude and unprofessional behavior. The situation only got worse when he failed to give me my change back ( the good costs $15.16 he rounded up to $16). When I brought it up, the response was dismissive, almost like they were doing me a favor by correcting their own mistake. On top of all that, their prices are noticeably higher than other liquor stores in the area. With the way he treated customers, the inflated prices make even less sense. Overall, the customer service was terrible, the attitude was unacceptable, and the pricing is far from competitive. I definitely wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.
