My BF ordered us a bottle to be PICKED UP thru Uber This guy insisted I was an Uber delivery driver and wouldn't give me what we paid for despite showing him confirmation codes and everything. Worst and weirdest part is that he asked me for my ID to write down my full name and license number. I was shaking coming back in to ask him to throw away what he wrote. Visited Jacks liquor again today. Their selection greatly improved from last time I visited. They have a huge selection of everything you need unlike different liquor stores. I was at the laundromat next door and wanted Ice cream. I got a Hagen Dazs bar, excited to eat it. There was no pricing, but I should've asked first before purchasing. It was $3.99 for a single Hagen Dazs bar, ridiculous. Feeling guilty about putting it back I just bought. The moment I opened it I knew it was a mistake. Ice cream was super old. So old that the ice cream itself separated and shrank from it's outer shell. I went back and asked if I could it exchange it for a new one. She told me it wasn't old and looked at me like I was lying and gave me major side eye. She told me to get another one and not to change it again like it was a hassle for her. I went to grab another Hagen Dazs bar and she told me to get a different ice cream brand. The hell? I can't get an Icecream I want and paid for? Are all the Ice cream bars $4? Surely not. I ended up getting a strawberry shortcake Ice cream bar and I'm sure it didn't cost $4. She just looked at me after I showed her which Icecream I got and she waved her hands for me to leave while giving me more side eye, and didn't give a difference back when I asked if my new Icecream was $4. Sorry, I do not recommend this liquor store at all. Rude customer service, rude lady, and product freshness and quality is extremely questionable. 0 stars if I could. read more

After purchasing two 300 count puff bars for a total of $28.26 ($14.13 each) I realized how much I was being ripped off. I went back and explained that these retail for $8.99 and as far as I was concerned they owed me another puff bar, to which they refused. Obviously I should have paid better attention before buying, but if an angry customer came back to me and proved I significantly over charged them for something, I would try to accommodate them. But since they didn't, I can only assume they are price gougers, so I won't be buying from them ever again. Maybe they are called Jacks because of their jacked up prices. read more

If I could I would give this place 0 stars for the bad customer service. It's like they make the prices up daily or something. I came here a few times before and the last time I was here was April 2nd to buy some beef jerky. The guy tells me it's $3 a slice. I bought two and my total was $6. I came by today to buy two slices of beef jerky and my total was $7.60. I know we are not dealing with a lot of money here but why can't this place be consistent. I asked the lady "how much is it a slice?" She says "3.75." I said that's funny bc I was just here about 2 weeks ago and it was only..." she cuts me off and says "it always $3.75!" I wish I could give this place a no star. The lady that owns this place ( who is Asian) is so rude!!!!! I'm Asian and I notice her attitudes changes when its a Caucasian customer. My daughter goes to school near by and she says the same thing. Rude to her and very nice to her white friends. Simply put: guy that was working today, 3/22/16 Tuesday at 8:30 is a flat out asshole. The reason why I'm writing this and don't review anything else is cause this is the worst I've seen from any of the liquor stores that I've been to. The first time I walked in, it was to buy a scratcher and some food to pass the time waiting for my clothes to dry. When I bought it he just handed it to me and looked away even when I said thank you. When I won something two times (hence going in 2 more times after the first to get more scratchers) he looked more pissed each time I went in as if he was getting really annoyed. For God's sake you were only on your stupid phone anyway. I'd never hire this guy if my life depended on it. I'm a customer service rep and I deal with people all the time. He'd be horrible for any job out there. I know this is a liquor store and all but holy crap this is the absolute worst person I've seen yet. Other than that I've been here before and it wasn't bad at all haha. Sorry for the one star Jack's. Need to get this out there and maybe this guy can be put in his place. read more
