But now that I'm up here it's not really feasible to drive an hour south, drop off my car for a day or two, and figure out a ride back up here or renting a car. So I had to look for someone up here. Mike's Repair looked well reviewed so I took a chance on them. Turns out they are awesome too! I appreciated that when I called someone picked up right away in the evening and got me scheduled for first thing the next morning. Car was fixed the same day. Price was reasonable. A bit more than I'm used to, but I know the guy I used to go to was really giving me a sweetheart deal. I think Mike's gave me good value for the money I paid. I have 240k+ miles on this Civic of mine and it just keeps chugging along. So I'm sure I'll be back to Mike's as it needs more work. I'll definitely return!

Between my uncle and I, we have visited Motor Works with our vehicles 5-6 times within the past few…read moremonths due to various reasons like oil changes, new tires, checking and re-checking for a potential oil leak, and fixing a door handle. We primarily work with 2 employees here - Gus and Mitch. Both great guys who've answered all of our questions and met our service needs. Prior to becoming regular customers at Motor Works, we were loyal customers to a different shop in town for 10+ years. They had some staffing changes and their repairmen became careless, so we decided to switch it up to a place that's much closer to home with staff who seem passionate about their jobs. Pricing on services are generally reasonable and it can take a few days for parts to arrive. We usually ask for a free shuttle ride home if the service is predicted to take longer, but for oil changes, we stay at Motor Works and wait the 30min to an 1 hour time frame. I will say the one frustration we've had is when calling for a shuttle ride back to Motor Works to pick up our vehicle. There was an occasion where we waited for over an hour after being told there was a car "on the way" and we live close by, so there must've been some miscommunication amongst the staff there and it getting pretty busy toward the end-of-day. We were understanding about it however, I'd recommend calling back to clarify if a ride is in fact coming if you plan to use the shuttle service. Expect that you may have other customers in the car with you too and may not be their first stop, so be patient if that does happen. There's a Keurig for coffee and water bottles if you do have a long wait. Their wifi's a bit hit or miss, but not so bad that I've had to bring it up to staff members. They also no longer take checks - only cash or card, so be mindful of that before bringing your car in to Motor Works.

I live out of state from MN and I needed a trailer. I bought an XL Trailer from Friedrich's over…read morethe phone and from the pictures on their website. They made it look like it was in good condition. When I received it, I was in utter shock. It looked like it had been sitting next to the Titanic. Friedrich's gave it a paint job and said it was good to go. I talked with them after I received it and told them it was a rust bucket. They should have never sold this trailer, it should have been scrapped. The owner sent me a check for $4500.00, it only covered a 1/4 of what needed to be repaired on it. I'm writing this review for anyone looking from another state to buy anything from these guys. In all my years I never thought anyone ethical could sell this trailer to anyone in such unusable and poor condition. The owner of this business is a prick. Buyer beware!!
